Good News August 13th, 2021 – August 20th, 2021 edition. As you scroll through the highlights, ask yourself if the Deep State were in charge, would this be allowed? Or would we even know about it? We could get the world’s two greatest archers, placing one in Washington state, the other in California. Then at the same time they shoot a flaming arrow towards their designated non contiguous state. It’ll be epic! Then we all celebrate at Randy Quaid’s place. BYOB. I want to sing loudly and sway arm-in-arm with my Patriotic friends to ABBA’s Fernando. Then we’ll all toast to Fernando, the archer who mistakenly shot the flaming arrow into Canada instead of Alaska.

Hmm... Is it me, or can anyone else imagine the fire of liberty spreading across America the same way the Olympic torch has been carried throughout the USA? A symbolic Liberty Torch, carried by Patriots, who meet at the state’s border to ignite the next torch, until each state has their own eternal Flame of Liberty -which must never be put out.

Fernando - ABBA

Anyone else kinda disappointed that Randy Quaid didn’t hold his 4th of July party? I asked my husband if we could host a giant party for America, and for some strange reason he wasn’t too keen on the idea. To say we’ve been experiencing the most trying time of our lives is an understatement. We will be tested like never before. Nonetheless, I am convinced we will triumph over our enemies. I am not being frivolous regarding the troubles of humanity; I merely want to convey that it’s important to envision the outcome. There will be a period of cleanup, of healing, of helping the brokenhearted, of setting things right. There’s something special uniting with fellow patriots. But, the thought of uniting on a broader scale with those who helped defeat an enemy –in any capacity, is exciting for me, and visualizing this motivates me. There are some goose-bumpy, galvanizing songs out there so it may seem peculiar that one of my fight songs is Fernando by ABBA. Perhaps I am romanticizing the song but for me it invokes visions of brothers-in-arms, comrades, companions reminiscing about giving their all.

[Internet asks me a question] Why yes, I do think seeing a groundhog nonchalantly eat a slice of leftover pizza in front of his sworn enemies will help calm me

THE BEST APPLE PIE EVER ¾ cups all-purpose flour 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon 5-6 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and diced 2 tablespoons real butter 2 pie crusts 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar Mix the flour, sugars, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add apples to flour, sugar, and cinnamon mix. Get in there with your hands to mix. (Kids love to help out with this part!) Line pie plate with one crust. Add all of the covered apples to the pie pan. There will be lots of the mix leftover so just pour it over the apples. Cut up the 2 tablespoons of butter and place around the top of the pie. Now here’s a tip: use mini cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the top crust. This allows more steam to evaporate from the pie and caramelize the sugars inside. Save the cutout shapes. Place the top crust on top of the pie and seal the edges. Brush the entire top crust with milk and place the cutout shapes anywhere you like, except over the openings. Then brush the tops of the cutouts with milk and sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the top of the whole pie. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes; poke the apples and make sure they are soft. Chef’s note: This can be made in a 9x13 dish. Place pie crust down in dish, add apple mixture then top with crust, following the rest of the recipe. You will have to stretch, cut and blend the crusts to fit the dish.

The wind is picking up. The water is getting choppy. The clouds are gathering. We can feel it. Even so, I would encourage you to step away this weekend. Find something productive and healthy to do. Love on your family. Step on the grass with bare feet, close your eyes, bask in the sun, breathe deep. Do something that brings you joy. Tomorrow the good news for the week will be posted. The fiery gentleman above, the one with the stout heart and impeccable speech, is really bringing out the Patriot in me. This weekend, I’m doing Americana with my family. We’re going to watch Mel Gibson’s The Patriot. We’re going to fire up the grill and make cheeseburgers. We’re going to light up the leftover 4th of July fireworks. We’re going to laugh, make memories and be grateful that the good Lord saw fit to allow us to live here, in this country, at this time, with the people we love so dearly. And I’ll find the time to make the best apple pie ever. May God deeply and marvelously amaze you. Matthew 11:28

Sometimes you’re feeling one way then BAM! something just strikes you such a way it changes your mood. Watching Braveheart deliver his remarks to the board is getting me feeling all patriotic-y! How about y’all? Like I could take on any weenie aristocrat or help Lin Wood with his strike idea or make cookies to hand out to the pro freedom Patriots at the upcoming Trump rally. Or like I could swim like a dauntless majestic bird 👇🏻

This channel posts about worldwide pro-freedom lovers uniting (not a big fan of using protestor/protesting ‘cause that's what our enemy uses) if you wish to keep tabs. A word of caution: over the last a couple of weeks whenever I visit their website I receive a security warning. However, today it seems resolved. https://t.me/worldwidedemonstration
