Hope it's a lovely celebration for you! We celebrated our littlest's yesterday 😊 And we agree: it kicks off the autumn season! 🍁

I took a much needed break from doing online-y things from Friday evening until now. Praying over my Telegram family tonight. Blessings to you and yours!

Let go of the need to be understood Sometimes we just have to endure the loneliness of being set apart God may be pulling you away from everything and everyone you thought you needed You were built and chosen for this Loneliness isn't the end of your story It is the beginning Don't fight it God is preparing you The pain of being rejected by those we swore would never leave our side hurts our very soul Embrace it You may feel alone but.... God is walking with you Like so many before Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery The very ones you thought would support you.....walk away Moses was rejected by his own people... people he was trying to free Don't let their opinions define you God called you That's all you need to know

We must make forgiveness a priority in our life. Let's ask the Holy Spirit to reveal those little hidden grudges. It's time to let go, heal, and allow God to be the most influential in our life.

👇🏼 A friend shared this heavenly song with me recently. I am grateful for the quenching and contentment listening brings. Thank you, friend 🤗

2 of 2 All of us –at some point, in some way– are the encouragers. We’re found in the hands that cradles the hurting or mends what is broken. We bake something delicious, we draw something beautiful, we write something, we sing something, we pluck the chord, or we share our insights after reading a book. We pray for, give, and donate. So when you’re feeling weary or forlorn or numb, and you wonder why you seem to be the one others turn to, with the Holy Spirit’s help, consider that God put you here –the center of the wheel with many spokes connecting– to be a blessing for others. You are the good that happens to others because God equips you to point the way to Him. Do whatever it takes to rest in the quiet place beneath His wing so you can keep being the encourager others need.

1 of 2 I posed the question once: who encourages the encouragers? Yes, we run to the Father. We visit The Well and sit for a moment, soaking in His refreshing peace. Then we venture out, facing the negative, the thoughtless, the exhausting. And sometimes, we become so distracted, so edgy, so flustered, so gray that we forget to scooch back under His wings. We want to extend grace to those who fling words without thought for how much it hurts when it hits us. Maybe us not saying anything is our way of showing grace. Or maybe we bark something back and regret settles in after. How many times are we short tempered with those we deeply love because someone else hurt us? Maybe we tuck the negativity that impacted us into the quiet places of our heart. Maybe we wonder how we can be helpful for others when we don't feel very helpful for those we cherish. Maybe we wonder how we're serving the LORD when we haven't fully surrendered or unloaded our burdens to Him. Maybe we believe the lies of an enemy that stealthily dissuades and diverts us.

I was introduced to jazz and blues in my early 20s and it's a genre I enjoy. Just today I came across a blues compilation from Holy Groove on YouTube (they are on Spotify as well). The musical collection is chapters from the Book of Psalm. It is... as awesome as you think it would be! And... it's something I didn't even know I needed! David's emotions go quite well with the blues music. Give it a listen and see if it lends itself a fresh way to praise our Beautiful Creator. https://youtu.be/6rz6D787n0U
