It's impossible to believe in Darwin's model if you understand anything about it and are intellectually honest. Darwin himself would denounce evolution if he were alive today, he admits as much himself in his own notes. Science was less advanced in his day, lenses and microscopes were less powerful. We knew everything was made of cells, but we couldn't tell what was inside of them, if anything. Darwin's theory presupposes and assumes that cells are a sort of universal protoplasm, with no greater or more complex mechanisms inside them. Basically, that the cell is the smallest reduceable unit. And that cells arranging themselves into structures at random is what produced what surrounds us. Darwin states, in his own writing, that if the cell is not a universal protoplasm, but is merely another layer of a complex mechanism, then his theory falls apart and cannot function. Evolution is already debunked according to Darwin. None of the people tantruming in favor of Darwin's theories have ever read them, or if they have, they certainly were not paying attention. We now know today that cells are complex machines filled with specialized parts, such as ribosomes and mitochondria, and that even beneath that there exists DNA.
