Roby Johnson started noticing that his coffee tasted off starting in March of 2023. He purchased pool chemical testing strips and discovered there was high chlorine levels in his coffee. He set up a hidden camera and caught his wife, Melody Feliciano Johnson, in the act. Johnson says his wife was trying to get life insurance benefits by attempting to kill him. Despite all the evidence, Feliciano struck a plea deal, pleading guilty to two counts of adding poison or a harmful substance to food or drink. No jail time.
