One of the highlights of the St Petersburg calendar. Tonight, school graduates marked the end of their school year with city centre celebrations culminating with the traditional Scarlet Sails and a concert. For the first year, the ship was accompanied by "dolphins". Around 70,000 spectators gathered to celebrate youth, graduation, romance and the white nights!

My musings, what do you think? The way they locked us into the system began with (I believe) mortgages, that begat the necessity for a regular wage and that allowed the state to demand income tax with the sweetener of social security - paid out some time in the future. After that the whole payment in future of credit exploded and the vast majority who never had much debt suddenly became more and more indebted because they were/are seduced by advertising that their lives could be so much better IF they have XYZ. That's my conclusion so far.

This means that Marine’s party will have to abandon its membership in the ID (Identity and Democracy) front, which includes Geert Wilders' Dutch PVV. Matteo Salvini’s Lega in Italy may also join. Then we will have a France-Italy-Austria-Hungary-Czech front. Woke EU crumblin’ from within.

A compound crime: Israeli army hits Gaza family, uses them as human shields, and runs over their mother Palestinian Territory - The Israeli army continues to use its tanks to deliberately run over live Palestinian civilians and crush their bodies, in addition to using civilians as human shields, in the ground operations of its crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip that has been ongoing since 7 October 2023. The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor field team documented a compound and comprehensive crime against a civilian family comprising an elderly woman and her four children, including three young women and a one-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter. The family was attacked with gunfire and bombs after Israeli forces stormed their house on Thursday evening, 27 June. They were later taken outside and detained for over three hours despite their injuries in their home, near Israeli tanks in a dangerous combat zone, where they were used as human shields.
