Q: "How do self-directed, unschooly, non-schooly kids learn Math?" 🤔 well... * Life = math. * Video games = math. * Lemonade stands = math. * Farmers markets = math. * Gardening = math. * Cooking = math. * Building = math. * Games = math * Nature = math. * Music = math. * Art = math. Math is literally EVERYWHERE. it all unfolds naturally. AND.... if we don't ruin their natural desire to learn, it turns out that kids will choose to do "academics" on their own terms. Their own timeline. Their own natural rhythm. This summer, my 8.5yo Luminous Boy finished all of 7th grade math. ✨ I'm so dang proud and totally blown away. This life of self-inspired, self-directed learning is truly incredible! ⭐️🤯🤩💛🕺 How much more "productive" can a human being be - if we leave the coercive paradigm and follow the joy paradigm? Forgive me for being so proud of my boy. I can't help myself! 🥰

I can't help it! So proud of my lil Luminous Kids.
