Dentons Tashkent Summer Internship 2023

Dentons’ Tashkent office is launching its Summer Internship 2023 to provide quality training and work experience to law students in Uzbekistan in order to help them increase their legal knowledge and skills.

🧐 Considering that most of you are about to go for Summer Internships, the following Student Survival Guide might be useful. 🎯 The Summer Student Survival Guide (attached below) was created by Aaron Baer, who make s the following remarks. "It's all the stuff that we wish we knew before we worked at a law firm for the first time. While it's geared towards people working at Canadian BigLaw and mid-size firms, there's a lot of great stuff in there that applies to anyone working at a law firm including outside of Canada. Of course - if any advice from your firm contradicts what we suggest, then stick with what your firm tells you. But if you want to avoid all my mistakes (and the mistakes of so many others), then we'd suggest you give it a read! Some of my most memorable mistakes from my first summer at a law firm: - Submitting completely wrong research because I didn’t know there were regulations to statutes or where to find them - Saying 'aren't they the same thing?' when a lawyer asked if I was talking about an 'application' or an 'action' - Almost causing a deal to collapse based on my poor use of a photocopier - Submitting some research that – while legally solid – was so poorly presented visually that it was almost laughable - Inadvertently breaking unwritten (and undisclosed) norms about walking in assistants' workspaces - Walking down 18 flights of stairs, after what I thought was an internal door turned out to be one that locked me out of our office". 👉🏻 Follow us at tsulvismoot.t.me.
