🟥A WINNER'S MINDSET🥇🏆 During 3 hr of GATE PE. Dear friends, We want to share this with you all that can certainly increase your efficiency at GATE. Take an example, suppose I ask you to ride a bicycle on a narrow 4ft wide bridge, you can easily ride right.. but if I ask you to do so with a 8ft wide bridge in between the top of two very tall buildings, then even though you have a wider path to drive easily at the top, the fear of fall may keep coming in your mind. Self doubt may surround you because of your overthinking and that more things are at stake there. Even though the task was easier than the first one, these overthinking and self doubt hampers your performance. Same thing happens with aspirants in GATE exam day. Many students after GATE exam tells us that question was easy but they did that mistake, they did not care about units, they did silly mistake on percentage value, rounding off.etc etc.. and after the exam they can easily solve the same question.. The whole thing is your mindset at the exam day. Questions asked at GATEPE exam are very simple and basic concept base. And if you find paper tough, it will be tough for everyone. Your mindset should be like that and totally focused on solving questions correctly, with a free mind. So, we want that when you go to exam center in those 3 hours you just focus on questions solving. Forget about your rank, uncovered syllabus, family issues, friends, PSUs and all the stuff that can hamper your performance. Do not think that you are competing with anyone there. It's an ordinary regular exam Your complete focus should be on correctly attempting as much question as you can out of 65 questions in the those 3 hours. Your concentration should be on the question paper at the screen and on solving questions correctly on scribble pad. So, set your mind, that on that day you wont think about anything else. Focus just on Question paper and solving questions correctly. Forget about rest of the world. And do take proper sleep a day before exam. We know that you all have prepared well and are confident. 🛑1 week from now on SUNDAY you all will be giving the GATE exam. We understand you guys have prepared well, hope that you have revised syllabus once & have made short notes and formula sheets of subjects that is helping u during revision of syllabus more efficiently in lesser time. 🟥 *Revision + Time management is most important now. * But Don't be stressful. * Revise all subjects from short notes and revise all formulas daily from formula sheet. *Do check math and apti atleast 1/2 to 1 hours * Only use gate calc for calculations. * Analyse your mistakes at the test series questions, find out where you have made mistakes. And then try to avoid them. * If u want a guide when to revise what, u can make a flexible timetable to assign time for all subjects. * Stay faithful to yourself * DO NOT study anything new now. * Drink a lot of water. * Take atleast 6 hour of sleep daily(use alarm clock) * Believe in hard work that you have done during preparation. * Stay positive and motivated * Do check your exam center 1 day before exam. 🟥ON D-Day of GATE ------------------------------------------------ * Reach 1 Hour before reporting time * Do not hurry in exam center. * Read questions carefully, always Check the unit of final answer, * Solve question clearly in the answering pad that will be helpful during rechecking of attempted questions. * Be attentive avoid mistakes on question language like when rounding off asked, false statement asked, percentage value asked etc.... * Always think and apply SIMPLE basic approach to new questions. * MCQ- Go with the most appropriate choice by eliminating other in MCQ * MATCHING- Try to always attempt MATCH the column question, you can take risk here in these when you know one or two choices. *MSQ-Do attempt all MSQ as they donot have negative marking, but be careful. These ques dont have partial marking. * NUMERIC Q- Never leave NUMERIC value question. If u r unable to get answer due to time or any reasons enter the value that we encounter widely for that parameter, there is no negative marking here. Like if Bo is asked u can guess 1.3. If Z factor is asked u can guess it as 0.83 etc.. * Your GATE paper should be solved within 2 to 2:30 hours. * Now revise and recheck your answer sheet and questions that you have attempted and solved clearly in scribble pad. * then after that if you still have some time left, go to the questions that you have left and try to rethink by basic approach. DO not unnecessarily attempt too many questions when you have no clue about choices. We are sure this year will yield best result to you.!!
