A- First u should ask for refund from the coaching centre immedietely. This is ur right. If u feel like Money u have paid is wasted and they are not returning it, then there is no need to argue. Take lesson from the mistake. Your time is more important than theres. They are just doing their thing. Then try to be focused on your own self study. Petroleum engineering gate can be easily prepared by self study. Only 2500 students sits out of which only less than 500 u can say are really serious. No need to idealise such people and waste money on such institutions and start focusing on ur own future seriously. Attempt as many test as u can to excell gate in petroleum. All the best

A- Take- Tarek for reservoir; Rabia for drilling and Buon Guo for Production. Yes for production you have to follow different books topic wise as there is no single book that covers whole topic. Other book that are shared are for you to gain more and more confidence by pracising more andmore numericals and study deep theory from other books. For starting you follow these three subjects first. These three subjects cover 60% of GATE technical subjects. Best of luck.
