Just been reading up on the history of vaccines. I was musing on the extraordinary fact that Edward Jenner - on the basis of literally a single case study (never mind that the boy later died) was able to persuade parliament that vaccination was a miracle new development in medical science. Then I glanced just now at his Wiki entry and all became clear… He became a master mason on 30 December 1802, in Lodge of Faith and Friendship #449. From 1812 to 1813, he served as worshipful master of Royal Berkeley Lodge of Faith and Friendship

Yahweh is consistently rendered “Kurios” (Greek for “Lord”) in the original language of the New Testament. This is surely a definitive demonstration that Christians are under no obligation to try to replicate the sounds of God’s covenant Name in their own languages.

Sorry for the late reply. The Jewish Sabbath remained Saturday but the apostles are already on record in Acts as gathering early on the first day of the week for Christian worship. There is in any case no New Testament reconfirmation of the day of rest (uniquely among the Ten Commandments), and Paul sets out at length in Romans 14 and Galatians 4 that Christians cannot be bound by others in the matter of sabbath-keeping (see also Acts 15:1–21 and the analogy with vegetarian convictions in Romans 14 and speaking in tongues in I Corinthians 14).

To continue to spend our money in these supermarkets is to fund this agenda. Now is the time for us ALL to take action to change the direction of travel... To harness the potential of our collective purchasing power, to facilitate the redirection of wealth from the large corporations back to the local communities and businesses, and to remove the control those supermarkets have over our food supply, our health, and the livelihoods of our hardworking farmers who are not being properly compensated for the food they produce. This is the easiest protest.
