Exam-Day Documents for IBPS PO Prelims 1. Admit Card and Photos: • Take a printout of your admit card. • Paste one passport-size photo (same as uploaded in the form). • Carry 2–3 extra passport-size photos with you. • There is a box for your signature on the admit card. Do not sign it at home. Sign only in front of the invigilator when asked. • One photo will also need a cross-signature. Sign in such a way that your face is not covered – the signature should be across the photo but only on the body area, not on the face. 2. Photo ID Proof: • Carry one original photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, College ID, Bank passbook with photo, Employee ID, Bar Council ID). • Carry one photocopy of the same ID. • The name on the ID and admit card must match. 3. If You Are Using a Scribe: • Bring the filled scribe declaration form downloaded with your admit card. • The scribe cannot be another candidate. 4. Reach on Time: • Reach the exam centre before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. • Latecomers will not be allowed. • Be ready to spend about 2 hours at the centre. 5. Biometric and Photo Check: • Your thumb impression and photo will be taken. • Keep your fingers clean and free from mehndi/ink/nail paint. • Do not change your appearance from your application photo. 6. Items Not Allowed: • Do not carry books, papers, calculators, watches, mobile phones, earphones, health bands, jewellery, bags, caps, or any metallic items. • Do not bring food, water bottles, or any electronic device. • The exam centre will not keep these items safe. 7. During the Exam: • Use only the rough sheets provided and return them before leaving. • Follow all instructions given by the invigilator. 8. Keep Your Admit Card Safe: • After the exam, your admit card will be stamped. • Keep it safely because you will need it again for the Mains exam.
