Adam from Earth, Woman from Man To further elucidate the point of relational importance between adam (man) and adamah (earth), we must only compare the morphology of the two. Adam is masculine and has no feminine form, however if it did, it'd be adamah. There is no greater evidence of the symbiotic matrimony between man and earth. Genesis employs the same wordplay later in chapter two. Just as the human was made from the humus (2:7), so too was woman (אשה, ishah) made from man (איש, ish), displaying their interdependent and complimentarian relation to one another: “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman (ishah), because she was taken out of Man (ish).” — Genesis 2:22

The relational etymology of mankind with the ground is not something exclusive to Semitic language and culture. Look only to the word, human, adopted into English via the Old French, humain, which in turn descends from the Latin humanus and homo. Both Latin words descend from the Proto-Indo-European root *(dh)ghomon- (lit. earthling, earthly being), and distantly relate to the Latin word for soil, humus, from PIE root *dhghem- (earth). [1] [2] [3] The notion of mankind as being of the 'dust of the ground' is not only an ancient concept, but also a widespread one that spans many cultures.

Adam: An Etymology Many object to defining Adam's given name based on contextualised etymology by pointing to the root etymology of adam (אדם, man) and adamah (אדמה, earth): dam (דם, blood). Since 'blood' implies a red or rosy hue, this must be a pale and ruddy man. Without any evidence or methodology it is then claimed that the word for 'man' developed directly from 'blood' via the connotation of the colour red, and that 'earth' is etymologically dependant on 'man'. One only needs to apply comparative linguistics among other Semitic languages to see the real chain of development. In Akkadian, we find the words adaamu (blood), adamātu (dark red earth or dye) and adamu (an important or noble person), and in Ugaritic we find ảdm (man; red earth, red ochre) [1]. Both languages predate written Hebrew yet both cultures draw relationship between the red earth and mankind [2] [3]. The most explainable causative chain of development would be: blood → (red) → red earth/ochre → man/earthling.

Adam: To Show Blood in the Face? Part 2 When Adam and Eve were exiled from the Garden of Eden, God proclaimed curses to the Serpent, to Eve and to Adam. For the man, God cursed both him and the ground: "...cursed is the ground (adamah) because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground (adamah), for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Gen. 3:17-19) The very soil that sustains human life is of the same substance by which human life was made, and the same destination to which we all return. Nowhere does the author of Genesis ascribe Adam's name any racial or phenotypic relevance or connotation, nor can this define the exclusivity of his descendants to any one race. Its significance purely signifies man's role as steward. [1] [2]

Adam: To Show Blood in the Face? Part 1 When one asks how an Identity Christian knows Adam is solely the father of the white race, their main appeal is to the etymology of his given name. Citing a concordance, they will inform you that Adam (אדם) means "ruddy" or "to show blood in the face", and that this must refer to a fair-skinned race. Ignoring this leap of logic, let us rely on the context of Genesis 2 to exegete these words. In Genesis 2, we see explicit wordplay between 'Adam' and 'adamah' (אדמה, 'ground'). For we read that "no small plant of the field had yet sprung up for...there was no man (adam) to work the ground (adamah)" (Gen. 2:5). In identifying the interdependence between soil and man, the author most clearly identifies mankind's role of stewardship over the earth. Of Adam's creation, we read: "The Lord God formed the man (ha'adam) of dust from the ground (ha'adamah) and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life" (Gen. 2:7) [1] [2]

Diagnosing Christian Identity If we are going to effectively challenge and refute Christian Identity then we should first seek to accurately provide an overview of the core beliefs and tenets of the worldview. We shall do so by laying out CI's ideological structure into three core pillars upon which the worldview stands: 1) White Adamism — Adam was the sole progenitor of the White race and that all of the other races owe their origins outside of the family of Adam. Since Adam is the father of the human race, the other races would be non-human and therefore incapable of salvation under the New Covenant. Typically paired with One Drop Rule (any drop of non-Adamic (i.e. non-White) blood leads to damnation). 2) Israelite Identity — Europeans are fully or in part the descendants of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel who disappeared from history following the Assyrian Conquest (c. 740 BC). According to this narrative, the Israelites in Assyrian captivity would be exiled as the Iranic Kimmerians and Scythians, who would in turn become the Celtic and Germanic tribes of NW Europe. Other earlier incursions via the Mediterranean are proposed to explain the origins of the Iberian, Italic and Hellenic nations. 3) Israelite Exclusivity — Jesus Christ died only to save the "lost sheep of the house of Israel", and therefore the New Covenant was for the same beneficiaries as the Old. The Gentiles of the New Testament are seen as the estranged descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes, rather than the other nations of man outside of Abraham's seed. A quaternary but optional pillar would be Dual Seedline/Serpent Seed, which is given as supplement for White Adamism in order to explain the origins of the non-Adamic races via angelic/nephilim/animal hybridity. Upon the basis of these three pillars CI makes its nest. Some are quintessential (1), and certain pillars find themselves more dependant on others (3 upon 2), owing to the delicate nature of CI as an ideological house of cards. Over the next few weeks we shall endeavour to dissect and deconstruct each pillar to demonstrate how Christian Identity is a worldview of straw, and does not meet the standard of truth by any biblical, historical, anthropological, genetic, linguistic or archaeological criteria. Leg by leg, the table will crumble.

Grace, Race and the Faith of the Canaanite Woman [read article] The story of Christ and the Canaanite woman of Matthew 15:21-28 stands as one of the most principle passages for supporting the Israelite exclusivist beliefs of Christian Identity, but does it really support their agenda as much as they have been led to believe?

Grace, Race and the Faith of the Canaanite Woman

No passage is more principle to the racial exclusivist interpretations of Christian Identity than the story of the woman of Canaan, recorded in both the Gospels of Mark (7:24-30) and Matthew (15:21-28). On paper, the story tells an instance of a woman of alien heritage who seeks mercy from Christ to heal her daughter, and after several rejections (indirect and direct) she acknowledges her status as a "dog" and for her demonstration of humility is granted her wish and her daughter is healed of her demon. Adamic Revival, as far as its original purpose goes, is hereby defunct. This is no longer a 'Christian Identity' or an 'Adamic Christianity' channel. Herein, this channel shall be dedicated to the complete eradication of the damnable heresy that is Christian Identity and all of its offspring, as well as devotion to the preaching of the purest Gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Stay tuned, and God bless. @AdamicRevival
