🌎Disaccharide formation:
1) Maltose🍁
α-glucose + α-glucose --> Maltose
2) Lactose🍁
Glucose + Galactose --> Lactose
3) Sucrose🍁
Glucose + Fructose --> Sucrose
🌀Tips:
The type of equation disaccharide above :
glucose + (glucose/galactose/fructose)
so yall can try to memorize
- gaLACTOSE (mono) for LACTOSE (di),
- Fructose (mono) for Sucrose
- Maltose(di) is the easiest because glucose + glucose

Explanation based on this video: https://t.me/Matrikulasi2021/1579
1) Ca²+ --> Synaptic knob.
• Ca²+ ion influx into the synaptic knob.
2) synaptic vesicles -> ruptures
• The influx of Ca²+ ion causes the synaptic vesicles to fuse with the presynaptic membrane & rupture.
3) neurotransmitter -> synaptic cleft
• Raptured synaptic vesicles releasing neurotransmitters into the synaptic cleft by exocytosis.
4) neurotransmitter -> receptor site
• The neurotransmitter substance diffuses across the synaptic cleft and is attached to a specific receptor site on the postsynaptic membrane.
5) ligand-gated ion channel opened
• Causing the opening of the ligand-gated ion channel at the postsynaptic membrane.
6) Na+ --> postsynaptic knob
• Na+ ions influx the postsynaptic knob down their respective concentration gradient.
---------
[psst: this video is just a part of the process means not a full process explanation. So before the Ca²+ influx to the synaptic knob, &
after the Na+ influx into the postsynaptic knob there are some explanations left behind ya, for that part u study yourself 😄]
