| 3 | On October 28, 2026, Dr. Andrii Pavlyshyn, CEO of Inter Intelligent (Slovenia), and Dr. Alona Savych, CEO of Pharma Bridge Academy (USA), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering bilateral cooperation and the mutual advancement of both educational institutions.
Dr. Alona Savych is the founder of Pharma Bridge Academy, a Ukrainian-trained clinical pharmacist PharmD, educator, and researcher. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in Pharmacology.
For nine years, Dr. Savych served as a university lecturer at Ternopil National Medical University in Ukraine, teaching students in the medical, pharmacy, and dentistry faculties in both Ukrainian and English. Her extensive teaching experience enables her to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Dr. Savych has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific publications, including articles in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Her h-index is 19 in Scopus and 9 in Web of Science.
She currently works as a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, a major U.S. pharmacy chain. Her background combines academic teaching, pharmaceutical research, clinical pharmacy, and hands-on experience in U.S. pharmacy operations.
Through Pharma Bridge Academy, Dr. Savych brings this expertise together to help students build the knowledge, professional vocabulary, and confidence needed to pursue a pharmacy technician career in the United States.
Pharma Bridge Academy Pharmacy Technician Education and Training Program
Pharma Bridge Academy offers a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program (PTCB stands for Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) designed to prepare students for pharmacy technician roles in the United States and support their preparation for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE).
The 10-week program consists of 20 live online classes taught personally by Dr. Alona Savych. Students learn directly from their instructor, ask questions in real time, and work through practical examples and pharmacy-related exercises.
Instruction combines English-language learning materials with explanations in Ukrainian, helping students understand the subject matter while developing the professional English vocabulary used in U.S. pharmacies.
The curriculum covers:
• Pharmacy terminology and the responsibilities of pharmacy technicians.
• Common medications, drug classifications, and their uses.
• Prescription processing and pharmacy workflow.
• Pharmacy calculations and dosage-related exercises.
• Medication safety and error prevention.
• Federal pharmacy requirements and controlled substances.
• Preparation for the PTCE through practice questions and assessments.
Students receive supporting study materials, English–Ukrainian glossaries, homework assignments, and practice tests. Access to an online learning platform allows them to review course content and reinforce their knowledge between live classes.
Upon successfully completing the program requirements and final assessment, students receive a Certificate of Completion. Completion satisfies the PTCB-recognized education/training pathway requirement for CPhT certification; candidates must also meet PTCB’s other eligibility requirements and pass the PTCE.
The program is especially suited to Ukrainian-speaking learners seeking a structured, supportive introduction to the U.S. pharmacy profession. No previous medical or pharmacy education is required.
