Dear Sir/Madam, The Staff Training and Research Institute of Distance Education (STRIDE), IGNOU is organising a UGC approved 6-day Short Term Programme entitled "Design, Development, and Delivery of MOOCs" from 21-26 August, 2023. We are writing to you to nominate teachers and academics for the aforementioned programme. The brochure of the workshop is attached for reference. The workshop will cover the following aspects of design, development, and delivery of MOOCs: Instructional design principles for MOOCs Online learning best practices MOOC platform selection and use Content creation and delivery through MOOCs Discussion forums in MOOCs Assessment and feedback in MOOCs The workshop will be led by a team of experienced educators and instructional designers from IGNOU, IIT, and other Central Universities. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and to share their own experiences with MOOCs. Logistics of the Programme Date: 21-26 August 2023 Duration: Six consecutive days (approx. 6-7 hours per day) Mode of delivery: Online Registration fee: Registration fee will be Rs. 8000/- per participant.
