"Addis Ababa's sefer, iddir and gebbi". Anteneh Tesfaye (Phd, Architect/ Urban Designer) will present his research findings at the Institute of Ethiopian Studies on the 23rd of May 2024 from 2 to 4:30 pm. Sefer, Idir and Gibbi is a book that showcase the possibilities of theorizing Ethiopian urban livelihood , space making and design by foregrounding local practices of sociality and space making as sites of theorizing the urban from the global south. Nobody had seen his strange mix of Gothic and Art Nouveau before. Gaudí saw natural beauty as a gift from God, and made this the blueprint of his work. He was searching for the origins of beauty in natural creation. Nature is everywhere in the Sagrada Familia, his magnum opus — the ceiling is like a giant forest canopy and structures resembling rib cages bind the exterior. Gaudí combined these organic forms with the key principle of Gothic architecture: that light itself is divine and should be maximized inside. ከተማ ጥግግትና ከተማ ቅርጸት። Urban density and morphology. የአንድን ከተማ ጥግግት ለማሳደግ አንድ አይነት ብቻ  መንገድ መጠቀም የለብንም። በምስሉ እንደሚታየው በ3 ሄክታር ላይ በ10 አይነት የተለያዩ የከተማ ቅርጸቶች አንድ አይነትን ጥግግት ማሳካት ይቻላል። በዚህም የተለያዩ ምቾቶችን፣ እግረኛ ማበረታታቶችን እና ልዩነቶችን በከተሞች ውስጥ ማሳካት እንችላለን። ምንጭ። IMM DesignLab @ethiopianarchitectireandurbanism

ባህላዊ ቤት የ ኮንሶ ባህላዊ ቤት ሞራ ኮንሶ ከ75 ዓመታት በኋላ የተደረገ የ ደኮቱ ቀበሌ የታራቴ ካልካላዬ ሞራ እድሳት ሞራ እንግዶች የሚያርፉበት ፣ እውነትና ውሸት የሚለይበት፣ ህብረተሰቡ ስለተለያዩ ጉዳዮች የሚማከርበት ፣ ህዝቡ የሚመከርበት መንግስታዊና ህዝባዊ ውይይቶች የሚደረጉበት ፣ ወጣቶች እና እንግዶች የሚያድሩበት፣ አዛውንቶች የሚያርፉበትና ህጻናት የሚጫወቱበት ሰፋ ያለ አይነተኛ የኮንሶ ባህላዊ ቤት ነው። ሞራ "ፓሌታ" ውስጥ ይገኛል፡፡ ፓሌታ ኮንሶዎች ከጥንት ጀምሮ ለመኖሪያነት የሚገነቧቸው ባህላዊ "የሪል ስቴት" ከተሞች ናቸው፡፡ አምባ መንደራት ሲሉ የሚገልጿቸውም አሉ ፡፡ ሁሉንም የያዙት ፓሌታዎች የተለያዩ ሞራዎች አሉዋቸው፡፡ በእያንዳንዱ ባህላዊ መንደሮች ውስጥ ሞራዎች አሉ፡፡ ሞራዎቹ ውብ ግቢ አላቸው፡፡ ከወገብ በታች ልብስ የማይለብሱ ጨቅላ ህጻናት ዝንብ ሳይወራቸው እቃ እቃ የሚጫወቱባቸው ልዩ ስፍራዎች ናቸው፡፡ ከህጻናቱ ወዲያ አዋቂዎች ገበጣ ሲጫወቱ ይታያሉ፡፡ ሲመሽ ደግሞ የአልጋ ሳይከፈል የሚታደርበት ደረጃውን የጠበቀ በአሰራሩ ከኮንሶ መንደር ቤቶች የላቀ ውበት ያለው እልፍኝ ማለት ነው። የባህላዊ ከተማው ትልቁ ሞራ፤ የአነስተኛ መንደሮች የጋራ ሞራ ለተለያየ ዓላማ የሚውሉ ሞራዎች ብቻ ሞራ ዓይነቱ በአራት ይከፈላል ይላሉ ኮንሶዎች። በዛሬው እለት ጥር 7 ቀን 2016 ዓም የካራት ከተማ ደኮቱ ቀበሌ ታራቴ ንኡስ መንደር የታራቴ ካልካላዬ ሞራ ከ 7 ትውልድ (ከ75 ዓመታት) በኋላ ሊታደስ መሆኑ ታውቋል። ለዚህ ሞራ የሚሆን ቋሚ ወይም ቱዳ ህዝቡ በመሸከም ላይ ይገኛል። ይህ ሞራ በካርሞላና ካይሎላ ትውልድ ከ75 ዓመታት በፊት የተገነባ ሲሆን ይህን ሞራ ከገነቡት ትውልዶች በህይወት ያለው ብቸኛው ሰው ፕናዮ ካሣሣ ናቸው። ፕናዮ ካሣሣ አሁን በእድሜ መግፋት ምክንያት የመስማትና የማየት አቅማቸው የተዳከመ ቢሆንም ይህ ታሪካዊ ሞራ ሲታደስ በህይወት የቆዩ ብቸኛው ሰው በመሆናቸው ደስተኛ መሆናቸውን ገልፀዋል። ይህን ሞራ ለማደስ  አሁን በስልጣን ላይ ያለው የ ካሣሻ ትውልድና ከሁለት ዓመት በኋላ ሥልጣን የሚረከበው የ ካዋይሻ ትውልድ በህብረት በመሆን ያድሱታል። አንድን ሞራ ማደስ ከሣር ማሰባሰብ፣ ቱዳዎችን (ሞሶስዎች) ማዘጋጀት፣ ቃላ ማዘጋጀት አመታት የሚቆይ ሂደት ነው። ሞራ ሲሰራ በዋናነት ሞራው የሚሰራበት መንደር ነዋሪዎች ከማንኛውም ሥራ አስበልጠው ትኩረታቸውን የሞራው ሣራ ላይ ያደርጋሉ። በአቅራቢያ ያሉ የሞራ ሥራ ጠበብትችና ማህበረሰቦች ጥሪ ባይደረግላቸውም ማህበራዊ ግዴታቸው ስለሆነ ያግዛሉ። በጋራም ይገነባሉ። ምንጭ :  Promote Konso, Malefya Tube, Dire Tube, ሔኖክ ስዩም, Jemal Abdulaziz, Visit Konso,  Rod Waddington,  Fourwinds a Tour, Biniyam Bini Hailu @ethiopianarchitectureandurbanism
