Imagine if one nation developed a way to 'plant'/stimulate/entice earthquake mechanism in the nature. That nature could fucking blackmail the world or financially ruin enemies. We have weather rockets that shoot the clouds for the rain to begin. With proper funding, physics and time... is it not possible to get to the root 'stimulus' of earthquakes and find out how to artificially speed it up? It's just a theory. Don't think I live by it.
