*BANTUAN PENDIDIKAN PELAJAR OLEH YAYASAN KEBAJIKAN SISWA (YKS)* Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera, Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT) di bawah Yayasan Kebajikan Siswa (YKS) melalui Universiti Sains Malaysia menawarkan *Bantuan Pendidikan Pelajar (Kursus/ Latihan/ Pensijilan Profesional* sebanyak RM1,500.00 (One-Off). Bantuan ini terbuka kepada; 1. Pelajar B40 yang berstatus aktif 2. Pelajar di peringkat Ijazah Sarjana Muda/ Ijazah Sarjana 3. Pelajar memiliki sekurang-kurangnya CGPA 3.7 atau berprestasi tinggi (bagi Ijazah Sarjana –mod penyelidikan) 4. Merupakan pelajar *Tahun Akhir* 5. Dear International Students with *Dependents (Spouse/Kids/Family)*, In reference to the earlier announcement in November, The Malaysia Immigration Department has imposed effective immediately an update that the bank account statement provided to the institutions for application of dependent visa (*new and renewal*) must be indicating an *average* sum of *RM10,000.00* in the past 3 months bank statement. This means that the bank statement must be showing a minimum amount of RM10,000.00 monthly for 3 months or an amount that is calculated by dividing these 3 months of the bank statement to amount an *average of RM10,000.00*. The latest *3 months bank statement* must be obtained and verified from the bank to be submitted to Visa Office, IMCC for the purpose of new and renewal application of the dependent visa. Examples of calculation is as the following: Example 1: Bank statements indicating RM10,000.00 in the months of October, November and December; average amount of bank statement for 3 months = RM10,000.00 Example 2: Bank statements indicating RM5,000.00 in the month of October, RM7,000.00 in the month of November and RM18,000.00 in the month of December; average amount of bank statement for 3 months = RM10,000.00 Example 3: Bank statements indicating RM10,000.00 in the month of October, RM5,000.00 in the month of November and RM15,000.00 in the month of December; average amount of bank statement for 3 months = RM10,000.00 International students who are unable to provide this supporting document will not be considered for approval of their dependent(s) visa (*both new and renewal*) by the Malaysia Immigration Department and are advised to not bring their dependents to Malaysia. Please be informed that this is a requirement at the national level set by the Malaysia Government authorities governed by law imposed to any holders of student visa/pass regardless of any institutions in Malaysia. Dear International Students WITH DEPENDENTS (Spouse/Kids/Family), Please be informed that the Malaysia Immigration Department has imposed effective immediately that all applications for dependents' visa must be supported with proof of financial support and/or funding amounting RM10,000.00 and above to be considered for the issuance of the visa from a local Malaysian Bank statement. The latest statement must be obtained and stamped from the bank with validity of 3 months or below. Students who are unable to provide this supporting document will not be considered for issuance of their dependent visa by the Malaysia Immigration Department and are advised to not bring their dependents to Malaysia. IPS will keep all remaining cards but please note that activation for banking purpose is no longer available after 11 November. RHB Bank will arrange another session later in next year.

Any students that cannot collect the card now, it is fine. You can collect anytime after 15 November at IPS office.
