Hey everyone! Final update on these two matters! My grandma is doing much better, and she’s finally at home. She was discharged on Saturday night, and I went to visit her immediately the next day. We talked about these things, and she really is okay right now, she’s got to take care of herself, get some more tests, and she will be getting a treatment for her o2 sats. Her sats were low because she’s overweight, and got pneumonia, her lungs were filled with liquid and that caused her o2 sats to drop (she had about 74% ;__;), but she’s doing okay right now, it really eased my mind… And about the iPad, I received an email today saying Apple is replacing my iPad (I’m getting a replacement for the replacement), and the technicians said that I should get an official apple charger, just in case, despite already having a good, completely functional charger, and they told me to talk to apple on the phone just to report what had happened to my iPad and the replacement so they can fix the bug that’s causing iPads to die with non apple chargers. Everything came out well, thankfully, but I gotta wait for the replacement anyways. Aside from that, I really thank everyone who worried about me, who reached out, and was just there with me, even if it was for 5 minutes or just a message to check in with me. I’m sorry I have not replied to everyone, I’ll get to that within the next few days ;~;

After I went to the hospital and they told us to wait for news about my grandma. They’re still running tests on her and we’ll get more updates today. And istg I can’t make this shit up, mom told me to go pick up my iPad, that it would be fine if I didn’t come back during the day because they’d only allow one family member visiting at a time, and she went yesterday to get her some of her belongings and whatnot. I go, get my iPad, it’s all good, all okay, until I decide to start charging it. Same error, it kept rebooting all the time, it didn’t charge, and so, I now have to get a replacement for the replacement, I just got out of the service store thingy, I kid you all not, I can’t make this shit up, what the hell is going on… This all really makes me wanna cry my heart out, I won’t be updating about this unless something happens, I just want all this to end soon. I’m already frustrated about the apple situation, and I’m extremely anxious about my grandma’s overall health, if there is one thing I could just ask you all for is to be patient with me, I swear to god I can’t make this shit up

APPLE EXTENDED MY WARRANTY AND IF THE STORE DOESN’T SEE ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE USER I’LL GET A NEW REPLACEMENT FOR FREE!!!!! (which I’m almost 100% sure it’s not the case because the damn thing it’s basically new)

Apple doesn’t have an iPad repair protocol in Chile apparently, so they quoted me for a replacement for $1400 🫠 My warranty expired 2 months ago and they told me I might have a grace period and they might extend the warranty, talked to support on the phone and they’ll email me back, wish me luck 😓 Although if the technicians determine it’s a factory defect, I might get a new replacement completely for free, let’s hope for that ;u;

Welp, iPad didn’t charge at all during the day, kept rebooting itself. I’ll go with a technician tomorrow and we’ll see how it goes 🫥

my bff told me that I have to let the battery drain to 0%, let the charging controllers for an hour or so, and then try and charge it again, it might be due to the new update -w-

Talked to apple support on the phone. I really wanna think this is a software issue, so I'll let it stay, and I'll come back with more updates at night/tomorrow. Scheduled a repair for tomorrow anyways, wish me luck

But anyways, I guess I can start posting the drawings I finished while on that social media break yay
