A 100 Years From Now... Ponder of the direction you are heading in life. Don't neglect your true home. Invest!

Sins have an effect on us and the things around us, bounties of Allāh ﷻ can be taken away, misfortunes can befall due to our sins and surely its effects are manifested in the sinners life. Fear the consequences of the sin and do good as much as you can to enjoy the eternal bliss.

Imām Shāfiʿī رحمه الله said: "To be able to thank Allāh for a blessing, is a blessing within itself." [Imām Nawawī, Etiquette with the Qurʾān, p. 20]

Don’t lose hope in that which Allāh ﷻ can give you

Focus on being the best version of yourself. If you are doing a little better than yesterday, it’s a small win to celebrate.

Imām al-Bukhārī (رحمه الله) was distinguished with three qualities: 1. He never spoke much. 2. He never yearned for what people had. 3. He would never occupy himself with other people’s affairs; all his attention was towards knowledge. [Siyar A’lām an-Nubalā’ 12/449]

[الشيخ الددو] Prepare For The Hereafter Side note: listen to the Shaykh’s voice as he recites the different verses of Qur'ān, his eyes started to flood with tears. That’s how we should be. [@ beardedfella_____]

Mu’aadh Bin Jabal [رضي الله عنه ] said, "Learn what you wish, but Allāh ﷻ will not reward you until you act". [Sifatus Safwa. 1/300]

التواضع Humbleness قال النَّبي ﷺ: The Prophet ﷺ said: مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ، “Charity does not decrease wealth, وَمَا زَادَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا، and Allah increases the honor of the one who forgives, وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ للَّهِ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ and no one will humble himself for Allah’s sake except that Allah raises his status.” — رواه مسلم — [@ huraayrah]

Removing the love for the dunya from our hearts
Removing the love for the dunya from our hearts

Your nafs and desires are the biggest enemies in your life. The one who learns how to control it, will be saved from corruption and the one who is overpowered by it will be consumed by this world in a way that will destroy them completely. If the nafs can be tamed, you are considered to be the most courageous of warriors in the sight of Allāh ﷻ. For the greatest Jihad in the sight of Allah is the struggle one has in controlling their desires. Waki’ reported: Sufyan ath-Thawrī رحمه الله said, “I never dealt with anything more difficult on me than my own self. Sometimes it would be against me, and sometimes it would be for me.” (Ḥilyat al-Awliyā) May Allāh ﷻ save us from the destruction of our own desires. Amīn Yā Rab [aminabinteharith]

I hope for one thing from my life: to live a life of Qur'ān. In all of its forms. To live with its recitation, pondering, memorizing, reviewing, and most importantly acting upon it. اللهم اجعلنا من أهل القرآن [Wordsfrom@al_jalaalayn]
