After 42 years of hosting solemnisations and celebrating unions, the Registry of Marriages (ROM) and Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM) building at Canning Rise will be undergoing redevelopment in 2025. From 14 April, ROM and ROMM will operate from the interim site at Level 3 of Esplanade Mall. Appointment and solemnisation bookings will be automatically transferred to the new venue, and affected couples will be notified. Our colleagues at ROM and ROMM are committed to ensuring the marriage journey experience is as smooth and memorable as ever. From 1 July 2024, all parents can apply for Baby Bonus via the LifeSG app or website go.gov.sg/birthregistration. This adds to LifeSG’s comprehensive suite of services and information for parents of newborns and young children. Newborns enrolled under the Baby Bonus Scheme will also have a new Child Savings Account (CSA) automatically set up with their Child Development Account (CDA). Parents can manage both CDA and CSA accounts via the bank's internet banking app or portal.
