An additional 3% Mahargh allowance (DA) and an additional 3% Mahargh relief (DR) have been announced for all government employees in the state. In addition, the government employee housing allowance (HRA) has been increased from 8% of the basic salary to 10%. At the same time, the maximum limit of the housing allowance has been increased from ₹3,000 to ₹10,000.
