A Collection Of Problems In Astronomy - A Manual For Students by B. A. Vorontsov-Vel'yaminov. Publisher Mir Titles Project. 2025. Translator's Preface. It was a good exercise to translate the book and in the process refresh my basic astronomy concepts. The book has some good problems which requires some careful thinking on part of the learner. Several of the locations used are from erstwhile USSR and Russia, but the problems can be readily adapted to other locations. Since this problem book uses refers to several images from the textbook, I have included them as a part of the text. This makes the book selfcontained. In the future we might also translate the two-part textbook itself. Though I have taken care while translating, there might be errors in the translation, please let us know if you find any. I hope this the English translation of this problem book helps in understanding basic astronmy and associated methods of problems solving for young astronomers. Damitr Mazanav
