I met with my friend Bloody Pirate the other day and we discussed the concept of a 'Voluntary Collapse'. This is how I see it: Rather than there being an authentic, inescapable, civilisational collapse (which would be a loss of power to the archons of this world), civilisation will continue for those who choose to stay on that train, with its ever-tightening rules, regulations and surveillance. But for those who choose to abandon that train, they will be essentially living a post-collapse life.

Universal Credit - The Kill Box In Britain, various types of welfare are now being consolidated under the title 'Universal Credit'. This is a big step towards UBI and the new tightly-controlled financial system. I know this because I've been told by those using it that Universal Credit enables government to take fines and taxes (other than income and sales tax) from you at the point of distribution. The reason that UBI/welfare is such a key part of the totalitarian new system is because it would make the majority of people beholden to a central authority for their very means of survival and, under such circumstances, defiance of unlawful taxation, refusal to obey tyrannical rules and adhere to restrictions on speech can literally result in the means for survival being taken away - like a child who doesn't get pocket money when they misbehave. I think the world would be shocked to realise how many Britons depend on welfare payments to get by. Even most middle-class households rely on some form of benefit to pay the bills. And very quickly, it will come at a price; It will be taken to fund wars and technocratic projects, and remove any possibility of civil disobedience. We've been moved into the kill box. I always try to offer solutions to these predicaments, but things are looking pretty bleak on this front. Ultimately, the freedom-loving people of Britain are going to have to ween themselves off of welfare entirely, but that is easier said than done when the cost-of-living is so utterly overbearing (all by design and to this very end, of course).
