A leaked program draft has been provided to Politico, and supposedly already agreed upon by the Brothers of Italy, Salvini's Lega and Berlusconi's Forza Italia. This governing program shows that the incoming "nationalist" government of Italy is planning to abandon opposition to the European project and aggressive American foreign policy. Instead they will "fully adhere" to the process of European integration, that is they will fully adhere to the process of abandoning Italy's national sovereignty. The draft further stated that Italy will remain dedicated to NATO and the Western neoliberal order as it combats Russia by proxy in Ukraine. The election of Brothers of Italy, Lega and Forza Italia will bring no fundamental change to Italy, nor to Europe.
