Having a plan is not necessarily unhealthy, but falling in love with the plan is the real neurosis. Don't let your plan become bigger than you are. Never forget that Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans. And always remember YOU ARE ACHUMAN BEING, NOT S HUMAN DOING.Adopted from the book entitled Everyday Wisdom by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer A Note to the Inner-Self Dear me, There is wisdom in knowing where you are going, but there is even greater wisdom in allowing life to teach you along the way. Yes, dream boldly. Set meaningful goals. Build plans that give your life direction. But never become so attached to the map that you miss the beauty of the journey. Not every detour is a delay. Not every interruption is a distraction. Sometimes life changes your route because it is leading you to a destination your original plan could never have imagined. Remember, your worth is not measured by how many boxes you tick, milestones you reach, or ambitions you accomplish. You were never created merely to achieve - you were created to experience, to grow, to love, to laugh, to grieve, to learn, and to become. Hold your plans with confidence, but hold them lightly. Let them serve you not imprison you. Stay flexible enough to welcome the unexpected, humble enough to change your mind, and courageous enough to embrace a new direction when life quietly whispers, "There is a better way." At the end of it all, people will not remember the plans you made. They will remember the life you lived, the hearts you touched, and the moments you truly showed up for. So today, don't just pursue the future. Live this moment fully. Notice the ordinary miracles. Make room for wonder. Let gratitude interrupt your schedule. And remember that some of life's greatest blessings arrive unannounced. May this weekend be filled with meaningful pauses, unexpected joys, and humbling encounters that remind you that life is not simply a destination to reach, but a gift to experience one beautiful, imperfect moment at a time. #ANoteToTheInnerSelf #WeekendReminder #LiveBeyondThePlan #HumanBeingNotHumanDoing #SelfReflection #LiveWithIntention #EmbraceTheJourney #PersonalDevelopment #weekend #monthofjuly @positivetunes

You never truly know what another person is carrying.
A Note to the Inner-Self
Dear me,
Some are grieving a goodbye they never got to say. Some are fighting battles that leave no visible scars. Some are quietly holding together a life that feels as though it is falling apart. And yet, they still show up. They still smile. They still ask how you are doing.
Remember, not every act of strength looks strong. Sometimes strength is simply getting out of bed. Sometimes courage is answering a message. Sometimes hope is choosing to try one more time.
So before you rush to judge someone's silence, distance, or change in attitude, pause.
Could it be that they are carrying a burden too heavy for words?
And before you become frustrated with the world, ask yourself another question:
How many people around you are surviving a chapter you know nothing about?
Be gentler with your words. Be slower with your assumptions. Be more generous with your patience. Because life has a way of reminding us that, sooner or later, we all become the person hoping someone will understand without needing an explanation.
And perhaps that is what it truly means to live, not merely to chase success or collect achievements, but to leave behind a trail of compassion wherever your journey takes you.
Today's Reminder: The greatest kindness you can offer another person is to remember that every soul is carrying a story you cannot see. Choose empathy before judgment, for one day, you too may need the grace you once gave so freely.

A Weekend Reminder
Dear me,
How many of the things that once kept you awake at night still matter today?
How many problems that once felt unbearable eventually found their own answers or simply became irrelevant with time?
Yet, here you are again, carrying tomorrow’s worries into today, allowing possibilities that may never happen to steal the peace that is already yours.
This weekend, remind yourself that not everything needs to be figured out immediately.
Some things need your action.
Some need your patience.
Some need time.
And some simply need to be left alone.
Life has a strange way of resolving things you once thought would never be resolved. And time has a beautiful way of changing the weight of what you carry.
So, before you allow another worry to occupy your mind, ask yourself: Will this still matter a year from now?
If the answer is no, perhaps it doesn't deserve too much of your peace today. Rest your mind this weekend and trust the process a little more.
Control what you can.
Accept what you cannot.
And give time the chance to do what only time can do.
Have a peaceful and reflective weekend.

What a privilege to be tired from the work you once begged the universe for. What a privilege to feel overwhelmed by growth you used to dream about. What a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose. And what a privilege to outgrow things you once had to settle for.Miles Adcox, Human School A Note to the Inner-Self Dear Me, It is easy to complain about the weight you carry and forget that many of those burdens are the very answers to yesterday's prayers. The long days, the difficult decisions, the responsibilities that stretch your mind and test your patience - they are often signs that life has entrusted you with more than you once imagined possible. So before wishing for an easier path, pause and remember where you once stood. Reflect on the dreams that kept you awake, the opportunities you longed for, and the person you hoped to become. Gratitude is not found when life becomes effortless. It is found when you recognize that even your struggles can be evidence of growth. Today, don't merely ask, "Why is this happening to me?" Ask instead, "Would the younger version of me be grateful to stand where I am today?" May you never become so accustomed to your blessings that you mistake them for burdens. #ANoteToTheInnerSelf #EverydayReminder #Gratitude #Growth #Perspective #Purpose #SelfReflection @positivetunes

"At the end of your life, what will matter is not what you bought, but what you built; not what you got, but what you gave."
A Weekend Reminder
Dear Me,
As another week comes to a close, take a moment to pause and reflect.
Were you merely busy, or were you purposeful?
Did you spend your days collecting things, accomplishments, and applause, or did you invest in people, ideas, and moments that truly matter?
Life has a subtle way of distracting us with urgency while quietly asking us questions of significance. The weekend offers a rare opportunity to listen.
Perhaps the measure of a good life is not found in what we possess, but in what remains in the hearts of others because we passed their way.
So before you rush into another week, ask yourself:
What did I build this week that will outlive the week itself?
May your weekend be filled with reflection, gratitude, and renewed purpose.

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.Author Unknown A Note to the Inner-Self Dear Me, One of life's quiet lessons is realizing that not everyone who enters your story is meant to remain until the final chapter. Some people are like leaves. They bring color, joy, and companionship for a season, but depart when the winds begin to change. Others are like branches. They support you for a time, yet can only carry so much before they break away. And then there are the roots. The rare souls who stay hidden beneath the surface, asking for little and giving much. They remain through your winters and your springs, loving you not because of what you achieve, but because of who you are. Perhaps wisdom is not found in holding on to everyone, but in appreciating each person for the role they were meant to play in your journey. And perhaps gratitude is realizing that every leaf, every branch, and every root has helped shape the person you are becoming. So pause and reflect: Who in your life are you taking for granted because their presence has become familiar? And just as importantly, in whose life are you merely a leaf when you have the opportunity to be a root? Wishing you a rewarding Monday and a joyful New Week, I urge you to be thankful for those who came, grateful for those who who stayed, and wise enough to know the difference. #ANoteToTheInnerSelf #Relationships #Friendship #LifeLessons #Gratitude #SelfReflection #InnerWork #SelfWorth #Mindset #SelfLeadership #MonthOfJune #monday #newweek #Reflection #Growth #SelfAwareness #InnerPeace #Healing #Purpose #Mindset #PersonalGrowth #Patience #Becoming #Gratitude #LifeJourney @positivetunes

A Weekend Reminder for the Inner-Self
Dear Me,
Life has a curious way of hiding its blessings in plain sight.
We become so occupied with what is missing, what is delayed, and what is yet to happen that we overlook the quiet abundance already surrounding us. The conversation that warmed our heart, the friend who checked in, the lesson learned from a setback, the roof above us, the breath within us, and the opportunity to begin again.
Perhaps happiness is not always found in having more.
Perhaps it is found in noticing more.
The quality of our lives is often shaped not only by what we possess, but by what we choose to pay attention to. Gratitude is less about circumstances and more about awareness. The good has always been there; the challenge is whether we have trained our eyes to see it.
As you move through this weekend, pause for a moment and ask yourself:
What blessings have become so familiar that I no longer notice them?
May you find wonder in the ordinary, gratitude in the present, and peace in what already is.
Have a reflective and gratifying weekend.

The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials.Chinese Proverb A Note to the Inner-Self Dear Me, One of the greatest acts of wisdom is learning to live in peace with your imperfections. For much of life, you will be tempted to judge yourself by your mistakes, to replay old regrets, and to wish parts of your story had unfolded differently. But the truth is that you are not merely the product of your successes. You are equally the product of your failures, your disappointments, your wrong turns, and the lessons they quietly taught you. Think about it. The deepest insights often emerge from moments of confusion. The strongest character is often forged through setbacks. And the most meaningful growth frequently begins where certainty ends. Just as silence gives meaning to music, your flaws and mistakes give depth to your humanity. They remind you that you are a work in progress, constantly learning, evolving, and becoming. So be gentle with yourself. There is a child within you who was never afraid to fall while learning to walk, who never saw mistakes as evidence of failure, but simply as part of the journey of discovery. May you never become so afraid of making mistakes that you stop growing. And may every stumble along the way become a stepping stone toward a wiser, kinder, and better version of yourself. It is my fondest wish you have a thoughtful, inspiring, and positively tuned day. #ANoteToTheInnerSelf #DailyReflection #PersonalGrowth #MindsetMatters #PurposeDriven #SelfLeadership #Gratitude #InnerWisdom #PositiveThinking #GrowthJourney #SelfReflection #InnerWork #SelfWorth #Mindset #SelfLeadership #MonthOfJune @positivetunes

The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude.
William James
A Note to the Inner-Self
Dear Me,
You are becoming someone every single day.
Not only through the big decisions you make, but through the small thoughts you entertain, the habits you tolerate, and the choices you make when no one is watching.
Because becoming is subtle. It happens quietly, almost invisibly.
Over time, you slowly become what you repeatedly practice, pursue, and give your energy to. And long before the world notices who you have become, your inner-self already knows.
So pause and reflect:
Who are you becoming beneath the titles, the responsibilities, the achievements, and the expectations of others?
Are your daily choices shaping the person you truly want to become or simply helping you get through another day?
Remember, your future self is being created by the choices you make now. Because in the end, life is not only about what you achieve but who you become in the process.
May you become someone your younger self would admire and your older self would thank.
Have a reflective weekend ahead and may each day be feeled with intentional desisions and moments of reflections.

You have been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.
Louise Hay
A Note to the Inner-Self
Dear Me,
Be mindful of the conversations you constantly have within yourself.
Because over time, the words you repeatedly tell yourself begin to shape your mindset, your energy, and your sense of worth. An unchecked mind can quietly turn fear into truth, doubt into identity, and temporary struggles into hopelessness.
So learn to interrupt those thoughts.
Challenge them.
Refuse to let them define you.
Speak to yourself with more patience grace and compassion. Celebrate what is still working in your life, no matter how small it may seem. And never forget that the simple fact that you are still here means your life still carries purpose and possibility.
May you an enlightened day and may you learn to see yourself with softer eyes and stronger faith.

Do not allow temporary feelings to rewrite permanent values!
A Note to the Inner-Self
Dear Me,
One of the most dangerous things in life is to build your values on emotions that constantly change like the direction of the wind.
Many people live their lives writing their principles on sand: strong and visible when circumstances are calm, yet slowly disappearing the moment pressure, temptation, fear, anger, or disappointment arrives.
But principles were never meant to be seasonal. They were meant to anchor you when emotions attempt to mislead you.
It is easy to speak of patience when life is kind.
It is easy to speak of integrity when compromise is unnecessary.
It is easy to speak of kindness when you are understood and treated well.
The true test comes when emotions rise like waves within you and life quietly asks: “Will you still remain who you said you are?”
Remember, consistency in values is not built in grand moments. It is built in the small private decisions you make daily, especially when no one is watching and when your emotions try to justify abandoning what you once believed in.
Do not allow temporary feelings to rewrite permanent values.
And above all, never forget that the question is not merely whether you follow your principles but why you choose to follow them even now, despite everything.
May your values be written on something deeper than emotion.
May your character remain steady even when your feelings are not.
Have a grounding and reflective weekend ahead.

Choice Under Pressure
A Note for the Inner-Self
Dear Me,
It is easy to be calm when life is kind.
But your true nature is revealed when things do not go your way, when pressure builds, when expectations collapse, when emotions rise faster than your thoughts can settle.
In those moments, you stand at a quiet crossroads: to react or to respond. One is instinct. The other is mastery.
Remember, a single moment of awareness can prevent a lifetime of regret.
May you learn to hold yourself steady, even when everything around you is not.

A Note to the Inner-Self
Dear Me,
Life rarely presents itself as it truly is, it presents itself as you choose to see it.
The same moment can be a burden or a blessing, a disruption or a redirection. And often, what you call reality is simply an interpretation shaped by your past, your fears, and your expectations.
Pause before you label.
Step back before you conclude.
Because not everything that feels negative is meant to harm you, some things are simply meant to shift you.
May you learn to see with awareness, not assumption.

Focus and Letting Go
Over time, I’ve learned to simplify how I navigate life and its many demands.
Everything I encounter, I first place into two spaces:
የሚያገባኝ እና የማያገባኝ: what concerns me, and what doesn’t.
It sounds simple, but it is deeply liberating. Because not everything deserves your energy, your attention, or your worry.
And even within what does concern me, I go a step further:
I ask myself, Is this within my control, or beyond it? ልቀይረውና ላስተካክለው የምችለው ነው ወይስ ከእኔ አቅምና ቁጥጥር ዉጭ ነው?
If it is within my reach, I commit fully. I act, I influence, I take responsibility.
If it is beyond me, I choose humility: I seek support where I can, and where I cannot, I let go and entrust it to the Almighty.
This way of thinking has brought me clarity, peace, and a stronger sense of direction.
Because life is not just about doing more, it’s about knowing where to direct your energy, and where to release it.

A Weekend Reflection
“The only person better than you is the person you've yet to become.” Juliet Dillinger
Pause for a moment and sit with that.
Most of us spend our days measuring ourselves against others: quietly comparing progress, achievements, recognition. Yet the real benchmark has never been external. It has always been internal and forward-looking.
Who are you becoming?
Life, in its subtle and often unpredictable way, offers us daily invitations. Some come disguised as challenges, others as quiet lessons, and a few as moments of inspiration. But all of them, if we pay attention, are nudging us toward a version of ourselves we have not yet fully realized.
Growth is rarely loud. It happens in the discipline you choose when no one is watching. In the patience you exercise when things don’t go your way. In the courage to unlearn, relearn, and stretch beyond your current limits.
Becoming better is not about chasing perfection. It is about honoring progress.
So this weekend, instead of asking, “Am I ahead of others?”
Ask yourself, “Am I closer to who I am capable of becoming?”
Because the most meaningful competition you will ever face is the distance between who you are today and who you are willing to become.

A Note for The Impatient Me
Dear me,
Impatience often comes from forgetting that growth has its own rhythm.
You want things to make sense now, to work now, to succeed now. But life rarely unfolds on demand, it unfolds on readiness.
As T. D. Jakes reminds us, it takes faith to try again after failing. And maybe that’s the quiet strength you’re being asked to build: not just the courage to begin, but the courage to begin again without losing heart.
Let each day be less of a race to prove something, and more of a return to alignment.
A chance to reset how you see failure not as an end, but as part of your formation.
Remind yourself gently: You are not alone in your becoming.
There is a deeper source you draw from, one that does not rush, yet never delays. The right people, the right opportunities, the right clarity - they are not missing, they are unfolding.
So breathe. Slow down. Trust the process you cannot fully see yet.
Some journeys are not meant to be fast, they are meant to be meaningful.

One of the very interesting books I read, The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, raises an interesting concept called ‘The Broken Window Theory.’ The broken windows theory is a criminological theory of the norm-setting and signaling effect of urban disorder and vandalism on additional crime and anti-social behavior. The theory states that maintaining and monitoring urban environments in a well-ordered condition may stop further vandalism and escalation into more serious crime.
According to Philip Zimbardo, The Broken Window Theory is an outcome of ‘Broken Window’, the title of a 1982 article by criminologist James Q.Wilson and George Kelling. This theory argues that a broken window left un-repaired will make a building look uncared for or abandoned and soon attract vandals to break all the other windows. Broken Window Theory is directed towards the prevention of crime will be accomplished by steps like painting over graffiti, keeping buildings in good repair, maintaining clean streets and parks and responding effectively to petty street crime. These actions make citizens feel safer and when they frequent public places criminal activity is less likely to occur. Broken window theory suggests promoting walking-the-beat form of policing on the basis those indicators of neighborhood disrepair such as a broken window foster criminality. The logic is that signs of neighborhood decay lead residents to withdraw from public life of the neighborhood and thereby reduce the efficacy of informal social control, leaving the area open for serious criminal misdemeanors.
Now taking this into a different level, the same Broken Window Theory applies on personal level on how we lead ourselves. We all have some flaws and wrong deeds that could have been tended to early on but ending up giving us wrong turns in life or changes we so much needed but that we have procrastinated for so long leaving us to be dissatisfied in life.
Now the big question is, what is your Broken Window you need to fix so you can live the life you desire?
We all are pushing something for tomorrow or sometime in the future - from reaching out to our loved ones to some activity we can actually do now. We all wait for that perfect time, but that is an illusion. Just try to better your best on your every new day.

The Holy Week
This week calls you to pause, truly pause.
To sit with yourself in honesty, to seek forgiveness not just in words, but in the quiet corners of your heart where truth lives.
Beyond every difference in belief or perspective, this is your moment to return inward: to acknowledge the weight of what you’ve carried, the hurt you’ve caused, the grace you’ve received, and the blessings you have too often overlooked.
Let this be the week you soften.
Where pride loosens its grip, where fear is gently released, and where love - real, patient, unconditional love - takes its rightful place within you.
You are invited to mend what has been broken: the strained relationships, the silent distances, the words left unsaid, and the wounds left unattended.
Not perfectly, but sincerely.
As you turn to God, do so with openness: seeking not only mercy, but clarity, wisdom, and the courage to become better than who you were yesterday.
And as you pray for yourself, remember others. Those grieving in silence, those burdened by hunger, loss, injustice, and uncertainty.
Let your heart stretch beyond your own life, holding space for a world that aches and hopes at the same time.
Pray also for the nation, for unity where there is division, for wisdom where there is power, and for hope where it feels like it is fading.
Believe, even when it feels difficult, that there is still light ahead.
This week is not just about reflection, it is about renewal. A chance for you to realign, to rediscover your strength, and to reconnect with your truest self and your Creator.
So walk through these days with intention.
With humility.
With gratitude.
And with a heart willing to change.
