10-06-2025 Tuesday Dell Inspiron 3501 , part no. La - k033p , not charging and sudden pwr off at any time . thinking simple n stupid opend laptop n checkd DC jack physically passed,  due to lost psid bit connector , i connected original adopter , charging led glown for seconds n off agn , chkd psid pin on board dc jack conectr less thn 2v , got the clue , disconctd adpter n cold test dc jack conectr psid pin to psid line component n-ch jfet pin no.1 , value n continuity passed , checkd value 33 ohms resistor conectd to jfet passed. Still chngd jfet & 33ohms, Now Voltage on psid pin 3.3v for few seconds n gone same as charging led activity , got clue agn n applied wd40 inside dc jack n chkd soldering on jack wires , connectd adopter now charging led glown n stable also psid pin on dc jack conectr showing 3.3v stable , power on laptop chkd adopter / charging battery health status in bios setup all good , kept it pwrd on for testing its 2nd issue of sudden prwoff as mentioned by custmer , after 15 mins or so the laptop pwrd off & chrging led also off , chkd adoptr voltage on dc jack conectr on board 0V ,lightly twisted the dc jack by holding charger pin end got voltage back , that means dc jack patanjali , replcd dc jack from new dc jack collection n chkd voltage n psid ok. charging led glown n stable , Kept for charging ,Within few minutes once agn twist in story with laptop charging led off & led indicator of charger also off , remvd charger pin from dc jack repwrd charger,adptr led back on , put back charging pin in jack charger led off , means vin short , chkd boards jack conectr+ve & -ve value showing 0 also beep in continuity mode, removd dc jack from board value back to normal , means this new dc jack went faulty internal short after working few mins. Now replcd dc jack with original 1 from other cpu dead laptop , connectd adopter, no signs of shorting anymore , charging led glown n constant means psid also ok , pwrd on laptop chkd adp/btry hlth etc all good, kept it charging , battery got 100% charged , laptop working fine in adopter n battery mode. Job done, Thanks a lot Resp. Rafi Sir for guiding us to keep patience n things simple while working 🙏

09-06-2025 Monday Govt very very urgent Sony Vaio Laptop came for multiple issues as mentioned 1. Body damage . complete fabrication was required to ABH(top cover + hinges) , C part(touchpad panel) and D part(base) 2. Abnormal Display (shrink multiple display in 4 parts) , After 3-4 minutes getting normal single full screen display. 3. Wifi device showing in device manager but still not showing/connecting available networks in range. 4. One of the usb3.0 out of two not working 5. Touchpad not working. 6. Keyboard some keys not working. Last month customer already spent for a new battery n screen replacement @ other service provider he said, also he can't change the laptop due to a registered software installed & license is not transferable . I was just about to return the laptop due to pending workload but at the same time for some other reasons I had conversation with resp. Rafi sir , now the day was mine with master's blessing . Took the challenge of vaio multiple issues, rearranged Plan of action in order as follows: 1. Display problem (LVDS on board) 2. Usb (so that if wifi and touchpad not repaired user should have more option for external devices) 3. Internal Wifi 4. Touchpad 5. Keyboard 6. Body Fabrication (if above jobs not done no worth doing it first) Action: Opened laptop n perform hot testing @ llcd_vcc birth place found abnormal n low as 2.43v very slowly increasing till 2.97v , checked lcd_vcc IC input side found same as output side less than 3v, , removed 5 leg ic but input still less than 3v . Now traced from where this 3v is coming n found 1 DC to DC MOSFET whose input side was 3 37 n output side less than 3v , got the clue n replaced the fet but still same , now I checked it's gate which showed fluctuations from 4.5v to 5.9v , traced it's birthplace which was 15v pcu after passing a 1m resistor , one end of resistor having 14.7v & other end less than 6v , replaced resistance but no luck , now traced wherever the resistor's low voltage side is connected and found another DC to DC 6leg ic with gate voltage less than 6v which showed some signs of corrosion, simply removed ic n checkd gate voltage now it's 7.8v (as per theory it will easily shift both 3v/5v) , not taking much time replaced ic n fixed all back , laptop on got perfect display , wifi led also glown , toucupad started working . Now put usb tester in not working connecter there was no light, checked associated usb ic input side 5.17v output side no voltage , output side value ok so changed usb ic n now that usb connector also working fine tested usb hdd in it. Now time for keyboard, while physical test found keyboard cable few carbon pin points faded , cleaned the cable with eraser n cut the faded end so that proper print reaches the keyboard connector and luckily it worked. Took a long breath Ustaad ko yaad kiya Chai Piya n finally back for fabrication till it was finished. All the required jobs done successfully , Customer happily paid 2000rs Thank you so much Respected Rafi Sir not only for sharing quality knowledge but equally for changing/improving our thought process.🙏
