Всем привет и с наступившим Новым Годом. Возможно многие знают или слышали о моей разработке Zabbix-agent DBMON - это доработка оригинального zabbix-agent для мониторинга баз данных без внешних скриптов. Разработка началась в те времена, когда zabbix-agent2 был в зачаточном состоянии и не мог осуществлять мониторинг таких баз данных как MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle на таких ОС как Linux/Windows/AIX/Solaris. Про этого агента есть запись моего выступления на Zabbix Meetup 2020, а так же статья в оф. блоке Zabbix SIA. До сегодняшнего для исходный код модифицированного агента был закрыт. Но сегодня я его открыл, код доступен на Github. Там же есть все шаблоны, документация по установке из готовых пакетов для Ubuntu/RedHat, бинарники для Windows и AIX. В ближайшие несколько недель все наработки этого модифицированного агента будут влиты в форк zabbix - Glaber и получат там более полную поддержку и развитие.

Diskplorer - disk latency/bandwidth grapher Diskplorer is a small set of tools around fio that can be used to discover disk read latency at different read and write workloads. Diskplorer runs a matrix of 21 write workloads (0% to 100% of the maximum bandwidth, in 5% increments) and 21 read workloads (0% to 100% of the maximum IOPS, in 5% increments) for a total of 441 different workloads. The disk is fully written first in order to eliminate clean-disk effects. #tools #benchmarks
