Felt Labs has completed their most recent milestone inside the Ocean Protocol Shipyard - Grants Program. Felt Labs creates a web app platform for running, viewing and managing federated learning jobs. FELT uses Ocean Protocol compute to data. This trains ML models or runs data analytics algorithms on multiple datasets simultaneously. Federated learning is a Machine Learning approach where an algorithm is trained on multiple decentralized servers holding local data samples, without exchanging the data itself.
