Kulangadd Trek
Kulanggad is a hill fort in Maharashtra. It is the highest hill fort in the state, with the summit rising to an elevation of about 4800 feet. The fort presents a very scenic view of the other peaks surrounding it. The peaks of Kalsubai, Dhakoba and Naneghat, among others, are visible in different directions from the peak of the fort.

Tikona Farms, Tikona
Approximately three hours from Mumbai, this camp in Tikona is the place you would choose for some solitude, or a romantic getaway with your partner. Kalsubai Trek
Maharashtra does not have any limit for trekking destinations and if it is monsoon, then the number of trekkers would shoot up to a great height. The Sahyadri mountain ranges are large enough to encompass umpteen number of trekking spots. Kalsubai trek is one fine example for an exciting trekking trip and adventure junkies would fall for the trails that are easy yet unpredictably amazing. Mount Kalsubai seems to be the highest peak in Maharashtra and thus it is considered to be one of the best places for trekking near Mumbai.
The peak is located at a height of about 1646 meters above sea level in the Sahyadris in Akole taluka pf Ahmednagar district. At the base of the peak, one can see a small temple of Kalsubai and from the top, the views of the surroundings are of greater importance. In the surroundings, there are Harihargad, Anjaneri, Ratangad, Brahmagiri, Kulang and many more. Yes, like any other trek, Kalusbai trek also gives you one base to start it from that is Bari Gaon with a population of a few hundred and this is one of the best trekking places near Mumbai

Velas
Across the mouth of the Savitri River from Harihareshwar, lies Velas, another crowd-free seaside hamlet in Maharashtra. Unlike most other holiday destinations near Mumbai, Velas is primarily known for its turtle festival. Olive Ridley sea turtles come ashore from the Arabian Sea to lay eggs, which they bury in the sand, before again disappearing in the ocean. The Turtle Festival is organised during the hatching season, when the little turtles come out of their eggs and scurry into the sea.

Worli Fort – A Historical Site
Worli Fort is 13.6 approx from the Juhu Beach. It is an ancient historical place made in the 16th century by the Britishers. It is used for naval activities performed near the bay. However, access is not easy but this place is worth a visit.
