Deadman (stylized as "deadman") is a Nagoya-kei band founded in Nagoya in 2000. Previously, all bands founded in Nagoya belonged to the Nagoya-kei scene, but thanks to Deadman, Nagoya-kei began to be considered a group that produced music and had a similar look to the popularizers. Deadman also quickly became known for the melancholic lyrics of vocalist Mako, and the music itself resembles alternative rock. The band disbanded in 2006 without explanation. Mako and guitarist Aie reunited in 2019.
