#Update The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has issued a statement regarding recent clashes in the Shanawari area of Orakzai province and Dorri Banda in Hangu. The group claimed that its fighters maintained a three‑day siege on a fort and the Zargari police post in Shanawari, and that security forces shelled civilian areas with mortars and helicopters in an attempt to break the siege. According to the TTP, local elders and religious scholars mediated, leading to the opening of supply routes after the army reportedly promised a future withdrawal from the area. Additionally, the TTP alleged that in Dorri Banda (Hangu), an ambush killed two CTD personnel and three police officers, and injured several others. One drone and multiple security cameras were reportedly destroyed. The group also claimed that six civilians were killed and 13 injured due to army bombardment in the same area. In the Malkana Dama Dola area of Tehsil Mamund, Bajaur, two children were killed and four others injured as a result of crossfire between militants and security forces. The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for two attacks in Sibi and Sohbatpur districts on the night of May 6, 2026. According to a statement by spokesperson Dosteen Baloch:

· Two electricity towers were destroyed using explosives in the Limji area of Sibi. Two additional towers were reportedly severely damaged. · A checkpoint of the Pakistani Rangers in the Buskat area of Sohbatpur was attacked with small and heavy weapons, causing casualties and material losses.

The group stated that attacks will continue "until the independence of Balochistan."

According to TTP, a police officer identified as Abdullah, son of Ramzan, was targeted and killed in the Umar Adda area of Khas Tank Tehsil, Waliat Tank, at approximately 5:00 PM today. The attackers reportedly escaped unharmed. @Insurgent_Zone

A Militant belonging to TTP Ustrana group, identified as Yousaf Khan (alias Wark Lali), was killed during an intelligence-based operation early this morning near the Gurwali area, close to Kirri Shamozai police station in the Khoi Bahara, Dera Ismail Khan. @Insurgent_Zone

Heavy clashes are ongoing between militants and police in the Zargari and Dabori areas of Hangu. A large number of militants have reportedly besieged the Zargari Police Check Post and Shinawari Fort. Police and security forces have been conducting a clearance operation for the past 48 hours in the Zargari, Shinawari, and Naryab Dam areas. One police official, Muhammad Daniyal, has been injured. A mortar shell landed in the Dorri Banda Market, near a petrol pump, within the limits of Doaba Police Station. According to local sources, four people have been killed and 12 injured. All injured have been transported to Shaheed Farid Khan Hospital. Residents have begun voluntary evacuations. The Government High School in Dorri Banda has announced immediate closure and postponement of exams until Sunday, with new exam dates to be announced then. Further details are awaited.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants are mourning the death of a member identified as Amanullah Ghazi, reportedly the deputy commander to the group's shadow governor in Bajaur. According to sources, he was killed in a drone strike by security forces in Bajaur district. @Insurgent_Zone
