Al-Qaeda in Indian Sub-Continent (AQIS) released a statement condemning the attack on Mosque in Police Lines, Kohat, stating that targeting "Enemies of Sharia" in Mosques, Market and other Public places are wrong. Earlier Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Jamaat-ul-Ahrar (JuA) also denied involvement in the attack, and stated that targeting Mosques are not their targets. Tehrik-e-Taliban Ghazwa-e-Hind (TTG), a faction affiliated with Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan (IMP) claimed responsibility for the attack, that resulted in the deaths of at least 24 individuals including 18 police personnel and 6 civilians, and more than 130 individuals injured including 100 police personnel.

Police said unidentified attackers threw a hand grenade at the Sheikhan police post, which falls under Budhber Police Station, Peshawar. The grenade reportedly became trapped in the protective netting around the post and failed to explode. The Bomb Disposal Squad was dispatched to the site, while police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

According to reports from pro-separatist sources, armed individuals reportedly targeted a military convoy in an attack in the Galuga area of Mashkel, Washuk, on Friday. These accounts state that six personnel were either killed or injured, and that two vehicles were directly hit during the incident. Official confirmation of these events is currently pending.

Tank District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — Sessions Judge South Waziristan Asfandyar Mehsud has gone missing from the Wazir Abad area, according to sources. Local sources state that unknown armed individuals made the official ride a motorcycle and took him away. Further details regarding the incident remain awaited.

FC Balochistan West Command Established; Major General Farhan Appointed as IG Quetta, Balochistan — A new command named FC West has been established in Balochistan. Previously, FC Balochistan North and FC Balochistan South commands were operating in the province. According to sources, the headquarters of the new FC Balochistan West has been established in Dalbandin, raising the number of Frontier Corps commands in Balochistan to three. Sources say that Major General Farhan has been appointed as the new Inspector General (IG) of FC Balochistan West. Following his appointment, the new command has formally begun establishing its administrative and operational structure. The establishment of FC Balochistan West is expected to further organize the security, surveillance, and administrative coordination system in the western and border areas of the province. FC Balochistan North and South are already performing duties in various areas of the province, while the establishment of the new West Command in Dalbandin is being regarded as a significant change in the organizational structure of FC in Balochistan.

According to local sources, the President of the Welfare Society, a resident of Shah Hassan Khel village, Lakki Marwat, was taken away by armed individuals for unknown reasons and later killed.

#Update Security sources have reported that the clearance operation has concluded after a duration of 21 hours. The final militant, who had been occupying the ammunition depot, has been neutralized. Additional information concerning fatalities and injuries is currently pending.

#Update Two more dead bodies of police personnel have been recovered from the incident site. The total fatalities have now increased to 24, and more than 130 are injured.

Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) released the video depicting BRG militants carrying out snap checking in various areas of Kachhi district, and attack on the hideout of Mithal Mugheri in mithalabad area of Kachhi district.

Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — A private school bus used for student pick-and-drop services was reportedly destroyed by an explosive device in Shamshato, Peshawar. According to police sources, the bus belonging to Mian Gul Model School was parked opposite Government High School Shamsto when the explosion occurred. Police have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.

According to local sources, cross border clashes are ongoing between Afghan forces and Pakistani forces at Tariq Mangal and Pewar area of Upper Kurram. Local sources alleged that heavy weapons are being used by both sides.
