According to reports, security forces have given residents of Azam Warsak village in Birmil tehsil, Lower South Waziristan, a deadline until 6 PM to evacuate the area and move to safer locations. Markets and business centers are reportedly closed. A local jirga of elders is ongoing. Earlier, a joint jirga of four tribes unanimously decided that they will not leave their homes and ancestral areas under any circumstances. Jirga members stated that the people are ready to face any situation but will not accept displacement. The jirga also decided that tribal action, including a possible fine, will be taken against any person or family who complies with the evacuation order. Tribal elders said all four tribes are united in this decision.

According to local sources, heavy fighting is ongoing between armed individuals and government forces in the Naal area of Khuzdar. Initial reports indicate that the armed individuals have taken control of several government installations, including government offices, banks, Levies facilities, and police stations. #Update According to local sources, a military operation in Miranshah has entered multiple days, with civilians reportedly trapped in the area. Residents claim that food and water supplies have run out, with some going without food for three days. Drone strikes and mortar shelling have been reported since early morning. Local sources allege that one young man has been killed and three others injured. They further claim that individuals left behind to protect homes on the instructions of local elders have been shot by security forces. Some local elders, including a figure identified as Mir Qadir, are said to have left the area. An appeal has been made to other local elders, including Baitullah, to take emergency measures for the trapped civilians.

A heavy-weapon attack was carried out on Afzal Khan Gujjar in the Shakardara area of Matta Tehsil, Swat. According to sources, four people, including Afzal Khan Gujjar, were injured and were immediately shifted to Matta Hospital for medical treatment.

According to reports, armed assailants attacked a police checkpost in the Suntsar tehsil of Gwadar district. The attackers reportedly overpowered and held police personnel hostage, then fled the scene with government-issued weapons and an official vehicle.

According to security sources, four personnel, comprising three police officers and one member of the Federal Security Force, were killed, and twenty others were injured during a raid by unidentified assailants in Rawalakot. State sources attribute the attack to members of the proscribed Jammu Kashmir Awami Action Committee (JKAAC).

A large tribal jirga was held today in Jani Khel Mandi, bannu. Participants expressed concern over insecurity, road closures, and alleged harassment of Jani Khel residents living in Bannu by police and local peace committees. Key resolutions adopted:

· No support for any military operation that results in civilian casualties or forced displacement. · Avoid forming public-level peace committees. · Urged the Bannu administration to stop alleged unlawful harassment of Jani Khel residents. · Announcement of a weekly protest camp every Sunday in Jani Khel Mandi to continue a peaceful campaign for security and public rights.

Participants emphasized that lasting peace, stability, and respect for local community rights remain their primary objectives.

A significant contingent of armed insurgents launched an assault on nine trailer trucks transporting minerals from the Saindak Project, as well as three security force vehicles providing an escort, located along the Quetta–Taftan Highway (RCD) in the Kardgap area of Mastung. According to reports, the incident resulted in substantial damage to the mineral-laden trucks, while the security forces incurred casualties and material losses.

The body of a police officer, identified as Sher Nawaz, was recovered in the Karabogha Sharif village of Thall Tehsil, within the jurisdiction of Doaba Police Station, Hangu. He had been missing since June 1, 2026. The body has been shifted to a hospital for post‑mortem examination. Station House Officer (SHO) Niaz Khattak confirmed the developments.

The Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) has claimed responsibility for attacks on a military convoy in the BalBal area of Zehri, Khuzdar district, on June 2, 2026. According to a statement by spokesperson Baloch Khan, fighters ambushed a convoy from multiple directions, killing eight personnel and destroying one vehicle. A subsequent attack on advancing armored vehicles reportedly caused additional casualties and damaged one armored vehicle. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has issued a statement regarding a firing incident in the outskirts of Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. According to the group, one person (Shahzeb Habib) was killed and several others, including Umar Nazeer (described as a key official of the Public Action Committee), were injured.
