Two Police officers sustained injuries during an armed assault by militants in Memon Goth, Karachi. The police personnel have been identified as Samad, and Mukhtar. The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has assumed responsibility for the incident.

#Update The Baloch Liberation Army (Jeeyand) has claimed responsibility for the killing of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and CTD officer Afzal Muhammad Hasni in Nushki Bazaar. According to a statement by spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the attack was carried out by the group's Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS). The BLA alleged that the officer was involved in "Baloch genocide policies" and stated that a detailed statement will be released soon.
