BLA Claims 18 Pakistani Personnel Killed in 25 Attacks; 10 BLA Fighters Killed The Baloch Liberation Army (Jeeyand) has claimed responsibility for 25 operations across Balochistan between September 6 and September 23, stating that 18 personnel of the Pakistani military were killed and several others injured. The group also claimed it took control of government installations and police stations in Mand and Khuzdar during three major operations. According to the BLA statement, ten of its fighters were killed during clashes with security forces. The BLA said its fighters targeted military convoys, checkpoints, and infrastructure, including communication towers and a bridge on the Quetta–Taftan trade route. The statement also claimed that an alleged informant was detained and executed after confessing to working with the military. Key claims:

As a result of the clash, the group claims dozens of iranian forces were killed and injured, including the commander of the Shahid Sajjad operational base, identified as General Hossein Zarefi, and his deputy for intelligence, Ahmad Herati Zareati. The group also acknowledged the loss of four of its fighters: three were encircled fighters and one was part of the support force sent to assist them. The statement described the ruling clergy as having "no logic other than aggression and violence" and said repeated attacks on the group's fighters demonstrate a continued path of destruction and bloodshed. The group asserted that Balochistan is their home and that they are present across the region, warning that any aggression by suppressive forces will be met with a strong response.

Asim was killed during a joint operation by United States and Afghan forces in Musa Qala, Helmand Province. The commemorative material features images of Asim Umar's children, who perished in the same incident, alongside other AQIS affiliates, including Commander Kamran Atif and Commander Affan Ghani. Additionally, the poster discloses that the wife and children of Malik Yaqoob Awan, an AQIS commander from Punjab, were also killed during this raid.
