US markets open after major AI leaders called for a "slowdown" in AI development.
2. TUESDAY
Senate vote on the CLARITY Act: The vote could determine whether the US crypto industry finally gets a federal framework for Bitcoin, Ethereum and other digital assets.
3. Wednesday
Fed Interest Rate Decision: The biggest market event of the year. Rate-hike odds are above 85% as Fed Chair Kevin Warsh faces a historic choice: hike rates for the first time in 2026 despite President Trump demanding cuts and threatening trade action with other countries if the Fed refuses.
FOMC Economic Projections: This is more important than the rate decision itself.
