The reason:
Irisha and Kenji started off really close, but over time Irisha began feeling like she was the only one putting effort into keeping the relationship alive. She was always the one checking in, making plans, and trying to resolve arguments, while Kenji assumed things were fine because Irisha never directly complained. Eventually, Irisha reached her limit. When she finally told Kenji how she felt, he promised to change—but Irisha realized she had heard the same promises before.

The reason:
Marias and Kenji had a relationship where they constantly promised each other that they would communicate better and make more time for each other. But over time, Kenji kept breaking those promises—not because he didn't care, but because he kept assuming Marias would understand. Eventually, Marias stopped getting angry and simply stopped expecting anything from him. Kenji realized something was wrong only after Marias became noticeably distant. When Marias finally ended things, Kenji asked for another chance, but Marias said they had already given each other too many chances.
