U.S. officials pressed Israel to launch a unilateral strike on Iran during talks over the past two weeks, Maariv reports. Washington reportedly wanted Israel to assume the political risks of military action ahead of the U.S. midterm elections in November, believing Israel might favor a strike before its own Oct. 27 elections. IDF chief Eyal Zamir warned that renewed fighting could delay Israel’s vote. Faytuks Network (@FaytuksNetwork) BREAKING: Donald J. Trump announced following a discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia will supply large quantities of diesel fuel to the global and American marketplace, starting with over 300,000 tons immediately, another 500,000 tons in November, 1,000,000 tons thereafter, and an additional 3,000,000 tons shortly after. Combined with control of the Strait of Hormuz, this agreement aims to quickly lower diesel prices for Americans, farmers, ranchers, and truckers. He also stated that Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.

In an interview with CNY’s Matt Mulcahy, Trump states he wasn’t involved in the decision to live stream the execution of a U.S. Army officer, but understands “it was intended to set an example.”
