An interesting point is both those floods seem to be post Kura-Araxes J2 flood of Canaanites into homogenous G2a Ararat circa 3500BC. The reason for the Astraharsis flood was too much noise. Could it be that the new Lulu Amelu species was causing too much friction with the older model and they wanted to save the earlier one? If that's the case, it seems there were survivors from both so it failed. The 'plagues' were supposed to be a follow up measure too, this seems to relate to covid recently.
