1.ایمیل یا اعلان داخل X را بررسی کن. گاهی دقیقاً دلیل ساسپند شدن را می‌گویند؛ مثلاً اسپم، دور زدن قوانین، یا فعالیت مشکوک. 2.اگر درخواست تأیید ایمیل داد، انجامش بده. بعضی ساسپندها بعد از تأیید هویت خودکار رفع می‌شوند. 3. اعتراض (Appeal) ثبت کن. اگر فکر می‌کنی اشتباهی ساسپند شده‌ای، از فرم رسمی اعتراض استفاده کن و محترمانه توضیح بده که چرا فکر می‌کنی تصمیم اشتباه بوده است. 4. منتظر پاسخ بمان. ممکن است از چند ساعت تا چند هفته طول بکشد. ارسال چندین درخواست پشت سر هم معمولاً کمکی نمی‌کند. . 5. تا زمان بررسی، اکانت جدید برای دور زدن ساسپند نساز. اگر به خاطر دور زدن محرومیت باشد، ممکن است اکانت جدید هم بسته شود.
