It's also worth noting that PL087 has a profile evidently ancestral to Medieval Slavs, only lacking the Iron Age Scandinavian/Germanic admixture present in Medieval/contemporary Slavs, presumably acquired after 200 CE through Gothic contact. PL087 also has Volga Finnic admixture, supporting the conclusion that the introgression of Uralic ancestry in the Slavic gene pool occurred before 300 CE. Furthermore, PL052 is dated to 175-300 CE, with a median of 238 CE. PL087 is dated to 280-300 CE, with a median of 290 CE.

qpAdm model on Proto-Slavs from the Gothic site of Maslomecz, Poland. While the samples are not validated as proto-Slavs yet, I believe they are proto-Slavic. 1. The male sample, PL052, belongs to haplogroup R-YP4258, an undeniably Slavic subclade of R-Z280. All descendants of this haplogroup are in Slavic or Slavic-admixed countries. 2. The fact that they get paleo-Bakanic admixture in comparison to Iron Age Balts is another strong indicator of being (proto-)Slavic, given this trait is present in medieval and contemporary Slavs. 3. The samples plot with modern Lithuanians (specifically Western and Southern Aukštaitija, who are the most Slavic Lithuanians), which would be expected of proto-Slavs, given they would be intermediate between Balts and medieval/contemporary Slavs. 4. The Gothic site in question is extremely close to the proto-Slavic homeland, only a couple of miles away from the Milograd or Zarubintsy culture, who are the likely candidates for the proto-Slavs. Model used
