Genetic breakdown of Core Magyars

The Karayakupovo culture was an archaeological culture of the southern Urals dating to the 9th–10th centuries. Together with the Kushnarenkovo culture, it is often associated with early Ugric groups and the ancestors of the Hungarians. Alternatively, these cultures have been linked to early Bashkir populations. Characteristic features include fortified settlements and distinctive burial practices involving horse remains, wooden coffins, and ritual traces of fire. Genetically, the individuals are modeled in qpAdm as 39.9% Krasnoyarsk (Bronze Age Uralic), 35.5% Sintashta (Proto-Indo-Iranian), 15.0% Boborykino (additional hunter-gatherer ancestry), and 9.6% BMAC. The dominant Y-DNA lineage is N1a-L708.

With the Ireland IA samples hopefully coming out, I have a theory that they are likely more local EEF admixed in relation to their English and Scottish counterparts, which is a result to the unusually high Continental Celtic they get on G25.
