Behold! The site of my dreams! Musiqa is a vibe-coded website that covers the fundamentals of music theory, from the basics of reading music to rhythm to scales, chords, chord progressions and more. It also has an overview of the theory behind the piano, guitar, string instruments, and wind instruments individually and how they differ. It has practice tests and quizzes to help train the musical ear and practice other exercises to improve musical knowledge. I sourced the content from musictheory.net mainly (idk if that's allowed but what's going to happen lol) and I told v0 to add a few more things that I didn't think the other site had. I think the examples sounds need a little work and so does the graphics, some of the note shapes are funky and the misalignment between the 'f' and 'i' in 'simplified' on the home page is a visual disturbance to me lol. Overall, though, after fixing it up wholly, I hope that it has something of substance and that it helps me in my musical endeavors. #musique #sidequests

A story of how I got a free buna. Today, I went to the Rotract's Club for the first time thanks to the most excellent @lunarsplash. It's a group of people (20–30) with different lives, interests, and views. The type of group I have always wanted to socialize in. It was very hard to get along with them at first, but as my buna started to kick in, I began to socialize more. We introduced our names, what we do, and what we wished would be illegal (mine was 600+ slides tot to study per assessment). As the introductions ended, I offered to recite everyone's name in exchange for my coffee being free and to pay for whoever's name I forgot. Well, I was able to recite everyone's name. (I told them that medicine didn't teach me to memorize, but instead that I learned how to learn) I recommend every med schooler to get out of the medical environment and socialize with people who have nothing to do with medicine. It's such a great experience.
