i see it all the time. restaurants use it, dealerships use it, used game stores use it, fucking local events and GOVERNMENT use it. instead of quaint little clipart designs that were endearing even when janky, now we get sora or stable diffusion or whatever. it's horrendous and i hate it

new rule: if you use ai for advertisements printed out in your shop, you are declaring that your business is no better than the internet, and i should be allowed to express myself in the same way i would on xwitter or a cod lobby. ai was meant to be confined to the internet: its output is wholly inorganic, immaterial, and requires human hands to become a real item - it can't do so on its own, with extreme edge cases. so by giving ai slop physical form, it taints the whole establishment. the space inhabited by ai art in any form becomes a transition realm between the internet and physical space. so you know what? fine. go ahead, use ai art. when i call someone a nigger and proceed to start blaring music through my phone like i would on prox, or start stacking tables and chairs in a corner because i need to test the physics engine, or toss shit around for the same reason, it's on whoever put up the ad. you became the internet by putting that shit up, and brother, i want to act like it

fallout is probably the best example. not obsidian fucking up the lore because they had rights once, but bethesda being so assmad over nv that they began imploding the whole franchise to own obsidian. fallout 4 is an awesome game, but the story and atmosphere is a huge step down from what nv offered. i say this as a fallout 4 enjoyer
