👾 What number represents the maximum nonce in Bitcoin mining?
👉 2³²-1
Or a little over 4.29 billion – the highest value a nonce can reach in Bitcoin mining, since it’s represented as a 32-bit number.

🫶 What ensures miners cannot predict the next block hash?
👉 Cryptographic randomness
In cryptocurrencies, randomness is used to generate cryptographic keys, create secure hashes, and maintain transaction integrity.

🍦 What is the term for a transaction spending its own output?
👉 Self-spend
It’s a situation where a transaction uses its own previously created output as an input – essentially, sending funds to yourself.

🗞 Crypto News: Weekly Overview
It’s Monday, and we’re bringing you a digest of key events from the real crypto market! To keep you informed, we’ve decided to launch a weekly roundup of the most important developments.
🗓 So, what happened this week?
▪️Bitcoin rebounded after the release of U.S. inflation data, which slowed to 2.4%. At the time of publishing this digest, 1 BTC is trading at $68,513.
▪️The current average cost of mining BTC is estimated at $77–84K, while Bitcoin itself is trading around $65,000. Against this backdrop, network difficulty dropped by 15% – the largest decline in the past six months. Meanwhile, mining company Cango sold 4,451 BTC ($305 million) from its reserves to repay debt.
▪️JPMorgan estimated the current production cost of BTC at $77K and maintained its long-term price target of $266K.
▪️CoinShares assessed the actual scale of the so-called quantum threat at just 10,200 BTC.
Stay tuned – we’ll be back next week with more updates.

🟠 What structure links transactions inside a block?
👉 Merkle tree
It’s a structure that links all transactions inside a block into a single hash tree!
✅ Thanks to it, the network can quickly verify data integrity and ensure nothing has been altered.

🤓 What is the term for verifying only the headers of blocks?
👉 Header-only validation
It’s a verification method where a node analyzes only block headers, without downloading all transactions. Fast and resource-efficient. ⚡️

👾 What is the name of Bitcoin’s block validation rule requiring correct difficulty?
👉 Target check
This rule verifies that a block’s hash meets the network’s current difficulty target. If the hash is above the allowed threshold, the block is rejected.

🟠Is Bitcoin decentralized?
Oh no, you’re in the right place! This is simply the first post from our knowledge library, because we want you to become a true crypto guru. And today, we’re answering a key question: is Bitcoin decentralized? The short answer is yes. 🤓
☝️ Bitcoin has no single owner or central authority. Its network is made up of thousands of independent nodes around the world. Anyone can run a node, become a miner, and verify transactions using a blockchain explorer. In the Bitcoin network, decisions are made through consensus. If a block or transaction breaks the rules, the network simply rejects it.
👏 Of course, Bitcoin isn’t perfect – but today, it remains one of the most decentralized systems in the world.
Thanks to decentralization, no one can:
▪️Issue extra BTC
▪️Reverse transactions
▪️Change the network rules on their own
🫶 If someone tries, the network simply says “no.” This is exactly what gives Bitcoin something traditional money doesn’t have: censorship resistance and independence from banks.

🔎 What is the value of the Coinbase maturity requirement?
👉 100 blocks
The reward from a coinbase transaction cannot be spent immediately.
🟠 BTC from a coinbase transaction becomes spendable only after the block receives at least 100 confirmations on the blockchain.
🫶 Yes, rewards here take time – but in our game, you can get XP right now!Combo Code: 191919 ❤️ ECOSMiningGamebot
🔎 What technique reduces blockchain bloat?
👉 Pruning
It’s a method where a node removes old and unnecessary blockchain data, keeping only what’s needed to verify new blocks.
⚡️Less data – easier storage.

👾 What is the term for the fee paid per byte?
👉 Sats per byte
▪️ It’s a unit used to measure transaction fees. Satoshis are the smallest fraction of Bitcoin – 1 BTC = 100,000,000 sats.
▪️ The fee is calculated not per transaction as a whole, but per byte of data the transaction takes up in a block.

🟠 What is the name of Bitcoin’s default database format?
👉 LevelDB
It’s a database developed by Google and used in the Bitcoin system to store and manage blockchain data and transactions.

🗓 Crypto News: Weekly Highlights
We’re sure you’re fully up to date with everything happening in our game – but what about the biggest events in the real crypto market? To keep you in the loop, we’ve decided to put together a weekly digest for you. And this is the very first edition!
🤓 So, what interesting things happened this week?
▪️ Bitcoin experienced its longest downturn in 7 years, tested support at the $60,000 level, and triggered liquidations worth billions of dollars.
▪️ Bitcoin miners massively shut down equipment amid record losses. Hashprice (revenue per unit of computing power) dropped to $0.03 per terahash. For comparison, in 2017 this figure was around $3.5.
▪️Major South Korean crypto exchange Bithumb reported an internal error during bonus payouts: instead of 2,000 Korean won (about $1.5), some accounts were mistakenly credited with 2,000 BTC.

🫶 What is the outcome of mining a block with invalid transactions?
👉 Block rejection
If a block contains invalid transactions, the network simply rejects it – no reward and wasted effort. Bitcoin plays by strict rules.

👾 What is the minimum number of peers a node connects to by default?
👉 8 peers
By default, a node connects to at least 8 other peers to receive data, validate blocks, and stay part of the network. Fewer connections increase the risk of isolation.

🧐 What is the name of Bitcoin’s difficulty target format?
👉 Compact encoding (nBits)
nBits defines the range of acceptable hashes and, as a result, affects the mining difficulty of new blocks. The lower the target value, the less likely a random hash is to fall below it — and the harder mining becomes.

📎 What property ensures Bitcoin cannot be inflated?
👉 Fixed issuance
The number of new bitcoins is predefined and cannot be changed. No “money printing,” no surprises — everything follows strict rules.
