Don’t forget about the solar eclipse this evening. While not a total eclipse in Ireland it will still be 90+% depending on where you are in the country. I got solar eclipse glasses for all the family in Astronomy Ireland yesterday. DO NOT look directly at the sun even with sunglasses or you’ll do irreparable damage to your eyes. Not even when it’s 90+%. If you do not have the specially designed glasses something as simple as a colander will project the sun onto a plain surface for you to see safely.
