WEDNESDAY JULY 01 2026 TRAIN THEM IN THE WAY THEY SHOULD GO Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). There’s a clear instruction from the Word concerning the upbringing of children, and it’s not subject to personal opinion or modern cultural trends. The Bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go,” not in the way he chooses, not in the way society suggests, and not even in the way you merely prefer, but in the way he should go. That way is defined by God’s Word. Some today have adopted a flawed mindset in raising their children, saying, “In our home, everyone is free to decide what they want to believe or how they want to serve God.” That’s not a Christian home. Christianity is not a democracy of beliefs. When you choose to raise a Christian home, there’s a standard and that standard is the Word of God. The Bible speaks of those who “...did not like to retain God in their knowledge...” (Romans 1:28). That condition doesn’t start suddenly in adulthood; it’s often the result of a lack of proper training and structure in the formative years. When children are not guided on the right way to serve God, they grow up without the consciousness of God and that absence can lead to grave spiritual consequences. You don’t negotiate spiritual discipline with a child because the Bible says foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but discipline helps to get rid of it: “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him” (Proverbs 22:15). As a Christian parent, don’t entertain the idea of your child deciding not to go to church. Don’t raise children to follow their impulses; raise them to walk in truth. When you insist on God’s way, consistently, firmly and with love, you’re not being harsh; you’re being obedient to divine instruction. And the result is guaranteed: when they’re old, they won’t depart from it. That training becomes a spiritual compass within them, guiding their choices and preserving their lives. You’re not called to raise children who merely grow; you’re called to raise children who know God, walk in His ways, and live according to His truth. That responsibility is divine and must be taken seriously. PRAYER / CONFESSION Dear Father, thank you for your grace and wisdom at work in my life. I walk in the light of your Word, applying your truth with consistency, love and firmness. My home is established on your Word, and those under my care are nurtured in righteousness, growing with the consciousness of your presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. God gives me bright ideas and helps me do my best at school, at home, and everywhere I go. Every day I grow in wisdom and understanding. Jesus has made me more than a conqueror. I am bold, courageous, and victorious. I speak God's Word with faith, and my words bring life, hope, and joy. Nothing can stop God's good plan for my life because He is always with me. I am kind, loving, and helpful to everyone. I shine the light of Jesus wherever I go. My family, school, church, and friends are blessed because God's love shines through me. I walk in the consciousness of my divine identity, knowing that I am born of God and fashioned for greatness. The greater One lives in me; therefore, I fear nothing and refuse every limitation of this world. I am filled with the Holy Spirit, guided by divine wisdom, and empowered to fulfil God's perfect purpose. My words are filled with faith and continually establish victory, righteousness, and success in every area of my life. The life of God flows through every fibre of my being. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and divine life energises every cell, bone, and organ. I walk continually in supernatural health, strength, and vitality. Sickness, disease, weakness, and infirmity have no place in me because Christ lives in me. I have overcome the world, and the resurrection life of Christ keeps me flourishing in health, peace, joy, and unending strength every day. I am an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. I have been brought into a large place of abundance where there is no lack, struggle, or limitation. My prosperity is established because God is my source and my exceeding great reward. His favour surrounds me, opportunities locate me, and hidden treasures are revealed to me. Everything I lay my hands upon prospers, and I experience continual increase, supernatural supply, and abundant provision for every good work. The Holy Spirit is my Counsellor and Teacher. He enlightens the eyes of my understanding and grants me wisdom, discernment, and creative ideas. My mind is renewed by God's Word, and I think thoughts of excellence, prosperity, and victory. I make wise decisions, walk in divine direction, and fulfil my assignments with accuracy and diligence. My faith is active and prevailing, and I continually move from glory to glory, from faith to faith, and from strength to strength. I reign in life through Christ Jesus, seated with Him far above every principality, power, and circumstance. No weapon formed against me prospers, and no force of darkness can prevail against me. Angels minister on my behalf as I speak God's Word in faith. I walk in dominion, exercising the authority Christ has given me. I am victorious in every situation, and my progress is unstoppable because I function by the power of the Holy Spirit. I am God's workmanship, created to reveal His love, goodness, and excellence to my world. I am a light wherever I go, bringing hope, healing, and righteousness to others. My life is fruitful, productive, and filled with God's glory. Everything connected to me is blessed, and I continually manifest favour, peace, prosperity, and success. Every day I experience the supernatural life of Christ, and my life remains a living testimony of God's grace, power, and unfailing goodness, in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR EARLY READERS TUESDAY, 30THJUNE 2026 BE AN EXAMPLE 1 Timothy 4:12 NLT ...be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. Shine for God every day by being a good example to others. Your words, actions, and thoughts should show God's love. Think about Daniel. Even as a young boy in a foreign land, he stayed faithful to God. He prayed, helped others, and did what God"s Word instructed him to do (Daniel 6). Because of this, he became a shining example to his friends and everyone around him. Being an example doesn't mean trying to impress anyone. It means being the best version of yourself—that is, the person the Lord has made you to be. Be kind to your friends, speak nicely, and help others. Let God's Word guide your choices and thoughts always. SCRIPTURE READING Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; LET'S PRAY I'm the light in my world, and my life is for God's glory.
