Recap from the Internationalist Brigade for Victory in Zagreb
After their time in Ljubljana, the Brigade went on their way to Zagreb. Here they were welcomed by the comrades in the Postaja squat. In Zagreb they did an intervention in front of the Greek Embassy, where they shared a moment of solidarity with construction workers nearby and connected over the struggle for freedom for palestine.

| 3 |  Recap from the Internationalist Brigade for Victory in Ljubljana
After the Brigade held a gathering in front of the Greek embassy with speeches, there were provocations by the police, which the brigade, together with the comrades on the ground, successfully resisted.
The comrades from Ljubljana gave a tour in the former autonomous factory rog squat, sharing the common struggle of repression and the need for liberated spaces.

| 4 |  UPDATE ON ARISTOTELIS CHANTZIS’S HEALTH‼️
Aristotelis Chantzis is now in his 20th day of hospitalization. As of today, he is tracheostomized and remains in the ICU at Evangelismos Hospital, in critical condition with multiple complications due to severe refeeding syndrome, prolonged starvation, and a prolonged hospital stay. | 107 |
| 5 | on the 7th of July, shortly after the first car of our brigade arrived in Thessaloniki, police stopped and detained 5 of our comrades. This has been the peak of political repression against the brigade, following countless searches at borders and 2 stops from frontex forces.
greek police officers put one person in handcuffs, constantly had their hands on their weapons and took all five of our comrades to the police station. Even after asking for the allegations multiple times, police couldn't give them a reason for the detention. They insisted on confiscating all phones, which our comrades successfully resisted.
The only female person of our group was seperated from the rest and the fact that she was menstruating was exploited by only giving her a tampon if she agreed to a stripsearch.
The practice of Stripseaching is not only humiliating but aimed at breaking resistance, especially enforced against female, LGBTAIQ* and migrant detainees.
The police also used specific interrogation tactics to trick people into talking, which failed. After several ours our comrades were released with no charges pressed, showing again that this wasn’t a normal stop but an attempt to intimidate the brigade and break our collective spirit.
It is an example of the continuation of the constant repression faced by the Community of Prosfygika and their international comrades.

After starting in Vienna and continuing trough Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrad, Sofia, Skopje and Thessaloniki, the Brigade has arrived in Athens and was welcomed by the Community of Squatted Prosfygika.

Η διεθνιστική αλληλεγγύη έπαιξε μεγάλο ρόλο στη νίκη της Κοινότητας Κατειλημμένων Προσφυγικών. Με σκοπό να συνεχιστεί και να επεκταθεί παραπάνω, διεθνιστές και διεθνίστριες από 8 χώρες συγκεντρώθηκαν στη Βιέννη μία εβδομάδα πριν ως Διεθνιστική Αποστολή "Brigade of Victory".
Την τελευταία εβδομάδα ταξίδεψαν σε διάφορες πόλεις των Βαλκανίων, συνδεόμενοι/ες με τους τοπικούς αγώνες, οργανώνοντας εκδηλώσεις και παρεμβάσεις μπροστά από τις πρεσβείες.
Την Τετάρτη η αποστολή θα φτάσει στα Προσφυγικά και θα τους καλωσορίσουμε.
Θα υπάρξει εισήγηση και διάλογος όπως και συλλογική κουζίνα.

WELCOMING THE INTERNATIONALIST BRIGADE OF VICTORY

Internationalist solidarity played a big role in the victory of the Community of Squatted Prosfygika.
For this to continue and to grow even bigger one week ago internationalists from eight countries gathered in Vienna as the Internationalist Brigade of Victory.
The last week they travelled through different cities of the Balkans, connecting to the local struggles, organizing events and interventions in front of the embassies.
On Wednesday the brigade will arrive in Prosfygika and we will welcome them.
There will be input and discussions as well as a collective kitchen.

The greek Police arrested our comrades with the accusation of insulting them and brought them to a police station in Thessaloniki.
The Police tried to illegally take the phones from our comrades, transported the accused comrade with handcuffs and illegally strip searched the only female comrade among the detained

In Sofia there was a discussion hosted by the comrades from @foodnotbombs_sofia wich will be shared soon, it was a great oppertunity to learn more and exchange about mutaual aid and also the concept of solidarity not charity.
Together with the comrades we also did a Intervention at the greek embassy in Sofia, where we also met more of the comrades From Sofia and learned more about their struggle.

In Skopje we were hosted in the @sc_dunja and had a long and intensive Discussion about their local struggles and the structures of the squatted community of prosfygika.
We wish our macedonian comrades the power for their upcoming struggles.
Together with our macedonian comrades we send greetings oft solidarity to the comrades in Ankara facing repressions because of the protests against the upcoming NATO summit.
