🇸🇦🇴🇲 REPORT
Saudi Aramco is considering offering discounts on crude loaded off Oman to offset record-high shipping costs and regain market share lost amid disruptions to tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Reuters.
Aramco is discussing discounts with Asian refiners for cargoes loading in the second half of October and transferred ship-to-ship off Oman. One source said a discount of around $9 per barrel is under consideration.
In recent weeks, Aramco has sold Oman-loaded crude at premiums of $10–$20 per barrel above its monthly official selling prices as Saudi Arabia seeks alternative export routes outside the Strait of Hormuz.

🇸🇦 DRONE STRIKE — East-West Pipeline (Petroline) - Eastern Terminus
Saudi Arabia has resumed crude oil exports through its East-West Pipeline after repairs were completed following drone strikes earlier this month, ending a 17-day halt in shipments from the Red Sea port of Yanbu, according to Bloomberg.
Flows have reached around 3.5 million barrels per day. The pipeline has capacity for roughly 7 million barrels per day, with about 5 million typically available for exports.
The disruption had affected Saudi supplies to international markets, with some European customers facing zero allocations under term contracts for next month.

rnintel — Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has requested an emergency injunction against OpenAI and ChatGPT, saying the company is unable to adequately regulate its own technology.
Stop calling it safe. Stop pretending it's human. Stop selling it to kids.
If Sam Altman meant what he said about slowing down, he can join our ask to the court. If he will not, we ask the court to do what OpenAI will not do for itself: protect Florida families.

🇪🇺🇺🇦🇷🇺 REPORT
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas:
There are many countries outside Europe who say that, you know, talk to the Russians and then there will be a result.
But these talks show that Russia really is not interested in peace at all.
Otherwise you don’t treat your negotiation partner, or the partner of meetings, this way.
